Dublin is a dump. From a born and bred Jackeen, Avoid it and visit Galway, Limerick, or Cork!
Sorry about the previous reply, it was a general comment to everyone. Do you mind if I ask was your open purse pickpocket on O'Connell Bridge just after you stepped off Bachelors Walk? I hate this place, but I was forced back here to work from Liverpool thanks to Liz Truss' insanity and her bankrupting budget.
@@TheHobade Awk no worries, thankfully not, however in few hours I was in Dublin I found my bag had been opened a few times 😞. Sorry to hear about you having to return to Ireland.
Arragh, you're grand. At least I found work 😀 Great videos btw 👍
Thank you for another great vlog. I’m loving seeing around Ireland! Hope there is some more places coming up! ❤x
When I came here as a tourist, I enjoyed the Temple Bar atmosphere and I think there's nothing wrong with it. Its a rip off, yes, but when we're in New York e.g., we go to Times Square etc., thats the same ;-) but as a resident I avoid it even though my fav pubs/bars are in Capel, Parliament and George St. Alternatively I recommend pubs in Rathmines, Ranelagh or in any other residential areas. Always good craic there!
I agree. It may be more expensive but it’s still a wonderful atmosphere, so it’s still worth it 😁
Love the videos Niamh! The area looks great! I am impressed how clean it is. Certainly not like other tourist hotspots I have seen around the world where on every corner you have street vendors selling plastic memorabilia made in China. As for prices,.... ya sure it is expensive. What tourist hotspot isn't?
Belfast it getting just as bad as temple bar for price of pints.
everything is getting expensive.
Dublin is now the hub of an international population and it’s no wonder locals stay clear of Temple Bar.
Also the price of a pint.
Nice video :)
Thank you ☺️
What a dive.
It’s actually lovely! Thanks for watching.
Where do they (Dubliners) go istead of the Temple zone?
Anywhere a pint isn’t 10€ and tourist free.
Truthfully, Galway.
I went to Ireland two months ago. I'm a Brazilian girl who lives in Spain. I had a great time in the Temple zone as a tourist. Great music, delicious ciders (I don't drink neither beer or whiskey). I also went to pubs in different zones of Ireland and enjoyed myself, they were of course less crowded and the pint was half price. I dont regret spending time at the Temple bar area though. It was fun. / I spent 12 days in Ireland (Dublin, Cork, Killarney, Limerick, Cliffs of Moher, Galway) .
A rip off, leave to the touristscand metropolitans
It is a bit of a tourist trap! Better being your wallet! 😅

Thanks for watching.
