Oh hey, it's those guys from that game... that one with doctors. Funny thing they both thought they would never see each other again, heh.
Either way, here starts the Forensics part of the game, which brings out my stupidity the most on the quiz parts, but you're not going to see that (I took notes ok). In the recording section Naomi comments about every single statement, mentioning sometimes interesting, sometimes funny remarks, but sadly, even though I always try not to skip any dialogue, I'll have to go straight to the answer or these videos are going to take forever.

Not too many people would know this, but those phone calls she get are played through the wii remote microphone and they are extremely haunting to hear.

As gimmicky as Wii was, stuff like this is so cool!
And apparently if you mute your Wiimote, it plays directly through whatever speakers are linked to the main system, so at least you're not left in the dark if you decide to do so.
Honestly with how low quality the audio usjay is for the Wii remote, it feels more immersive to have it played like that. She has a phone, oh! You have one too!

I wouldn't mind if ATLUS made a game that only had Forensics missions.
Their equivalent to Capcom's Ace Attorney?

I love the little phases that pop up before you start the surgery/firstaid/diagnosis/autopsy. they are like the mantras of the characters you play as. (eg. naoni's is "The truth can never truly die.")

How does she go from researching GUILT to being a forensic expert?!
She was infected with an intractible strain of GUILT at some point during research. It left her unable to operate and with a short amount of time left to live out...time which she did not want to waste...thus, she took on her current job.
Because the game needed a forensic specalist and they wanted to bring an old character to the cast

I’m going to be completely honest, when I first played Trauma Team and did the Forensic section, I didn’t connect Naomi Kimishima to her appearance in Trauma Center: Second Opinion. I thought she was just a made up character like the other doctors of this game. However, her name sounded so familiar that I went back to TC:SO and realized that this Naomi is the same Naomi from TC:SO. I felt so stupid that I didn’t put two and two together, especially towards my favorite doctor.
I’m so happy that Naomi Kimishima made a return in this game. Such a fantastic character.
This is in 2020, whereas UTK was set in 2018 and UTK2 in 2021.
You know, when I played this stage for the first time with some friends, we were all discussing about this knife topic, so it's not an idiotic point at all. The conclusion I came with was that you should not focus on if he could or couldn't have made the wrist cut, but why was the finger broken after he died? Considering he was lying on his bed, no traces of blood elsewhere, no signs of pain reaction to imply he moved... And alone. Naomi wants evidence pointing to a homicide, and this is one.
Do you whish there where re-releases of the games in this franchise for Nintendo Switch?

“Let’s go die...”?! A really weird way to say it but maybe there was meant to be a meaning behind those numbers.
The “ku” reading for 9 is obsolete, and if you say “shi” or “yon”, you can’t use a mix of both.
So, it’s “yon-ni-ni-ichi-kyuu-yon”.

I loved the forensics section of the game so much! It felt like a Phoenix Wright investigation part with forensic tools. Amazing.

The game runs on wii and i think it's easier to have a mii instead of designing and entire avatar? :s
I think these forensics missions were my absolute favorite out of the entire game. First aid was probably my second favorite, surprisingly I liked that more than Surgery.
Fun fact:
If you check the fifth speech bubble in the neighbor's testimony, Naomi says that Farewell, Danny sucks XD
(i recall checking a lot of bubbles and running into that so i don't think i'm mistaken)

@@patrikbengtsson3883 Definitely a show, and quite possibly a soap opera to be exact. Upon clicking on that particular clip, Naomi says, "Ugh, 'Farewell, Danny'... I hate that insipid TV show."
Yeah, but when you solve the case you can hear them "on the TV". Diagnosis also had this Wiimote feature when using the stethoscope, but you could change the settings, too bad it's not configurable on Forensics.
So Naomi's the female, slightly more polite version of Sherlock?
Not by much, since she still has beef/UST with her fellow former-bioterrorist Watson.

There is one issue I have with Atlus games.
Does Atlus have like... 5 Voice Actors kept in a dungeon somewhere?
We can only hear Derek Stiles's voice so many times.
Isn't Naomi's Voice the same as the Chief of Caduceus in Trauma Centre New Blood ?
I'm pretty sure it's just the processing that makes them sound alike. The voice actors themselves are very different.
@Randomly DIY I'd imagine they need to compress audio files in order to keep the game small enough to fit on a 4GB disc, and that already makes the actors sound similar. Throw in some tuning, amplification and echo effects, and you've got the same voice.
@@jakey1306 I've checked. New Blood's Director is Mary Elizabeth Mcglynn. Kirsten Potter is Naomi here. Completely different; even if their tonality/cadence is similar.
interestingly though, Yuri Lowenthal (Derek's VA) is probably most known for being Marth in Fire Emblem (which is a Nintendo-published property)

Navel was her associate from back then.

I mean i know that these games have the healing touch and stuff (granted this game specifically does not), but that does make some of the more supernatural moments make sense at least.

How does Atlus not realize the typo at 27:26. nis? really? lol
It will surprise you how many typos are still appearing even in new games. It happens especially in games with lots of text, so it's bound to happen sometimes.
When I first got this game and eventually made it to Forensics, I was so happy about doing autopsies cuz that meant I could be like Ducky from NCIS ^w^ (and also because I could never perform an autopsy irl...necrophobic...> >;; )
I'm sorry, but all I can think of is Naomi giving Little Guy a lesson on some subject that _vaguely_ has to do with the case. 😂

I wonder... if those pen motions are what were supposed to be in the Japanese version and they didn't correct it for the english lettering. They definitely don't line up but look like they could be.
It seems unusual to see a forensic event in this game series. I thought this game was always about saving lives, even though not everyone was able to saved. But to have something like this in the series is an interesting twist to the series.

AlmogTC While the fracture is indeed post-mortem, there are hints pointing out that the sliced wrist was not the cause of death.

From diagnosis to forensics...how many more arcs are there after Naomi?
Jacob Gilbert They all intertwine in each other, so separating the game in arcs is... Tricky, to say the least. But overall there are six characters. Naomi Kimishima, Forensics, CR-S01, Surgery, Tomoe Tachibana, Endoscopy, Maria Torres, First Response, Hank Freebird, Orthopedics, and Gabriel Cunningham, Diagnostics.
