confirmed level 8 flame will make your base free of frost. Also just a tip for you ChiselChip-- all of the humanoid enemies in the mountains are weak to frost magic.
Fun fact: You can kite the tyrant over the lava in the middle of the room and it will cook him dead dead dead. I did it unintentionally when I fought him.
Shouldn't be too bad, I did it again on my own and it was easier than I thought if I just patiently did it, and you'll have the prep from watching this :) Good luck!
Fun Ep, that Boss was fun on my solo melee build. I hope for are using the new foods which increase the frost resist? And give better stats, especially the Beef Stew and Milkshakes Just an FYI you can mine the snow
A note about the blast furnace: pretty much every recipe requires massive amounts of coal. As soon as you upgrade to the new furnace, coal becomes an insanely valuable resource. Also, I've noticed that there is a least one item which the blacksmith requires an old smelter in the vicinity to craft (the bronze barrel used for decor... unsure of the exact name). If you dont want an old smelter visible, you can tuck one behind a wall. I dropped one under a set of stairs and walled it off and turned the remaining space into a cozy little reading nook.
@@Chiselchip I didn't catch it until the second time, with the boss fight that you ended up tunnelling up to. I guess those platforms are incredibly weak compared to other wood foundations and such around the map. It seemed like just one direct hit from your fireball destroyed it. The floating grapple point was top notch though 🤌🏼🤣
Hope you enjoyed the episode! There was a big patch today that fixed a lot of bugs from the mountain update so that will be fun going forward :)
Yay fixes!

Oh cool, thanks!!

Haha now I gotta try that! 😄
The silver and Obsidian gets easier to mine with the Steele pickaxe. You can find silver deposits in the shroud.
Just what I needed tonight! ☺ Great episode and fun times ahead!
The Blast Furnace does not replace the Smelter, you actually need to keep one smelter placed because the Blacksmith needs it for some recipes.
Awesome video 👍 Crazy how much they keep adding to this game that I only paid €30 for.
Definitely!
Wow, the elixir well in the mountains is going to be challenging as a solo caster.

The final flame level upgrade gives you unlimited frost resistance WITHIN YOUR FLAME SHRINE BUILD AREAS

Yah I still need to tame some frizzy goats and get pumpkins for those new recipes
Aww ❤it .!! Ur fun 🤩
Good job guys. Will be happy for your poor npcs when they no longer have to stand around on your balcony, lol Have a wonderful weekend.

They have said that flowing water is coming eventually, yes cyclops parts are used to build one at your campsite
it's on their roadmap so hopefully!
Great video! How did you get the blast furnace quest? I've killed the forge boss twice and no bellows.
Got it from taming a yak I think
So does this become available once ypur of the right level?
Always so fun ! Thx !
I want Lava hearths for my builds lol
Many of the enemies in this biome are weak to ice bolt rather than fire bolt
Gibt es ein Video zu diesem Hausbau ?
Yes, I have a full village playlist
I think you got the Timer wrong Chisel, it actually says 16mins, not 6mins.
Oh, when did I say that? Haha I wouldn't be surprised if I did though lol
@@Chiselchip Actually, I saw 2 timers, did not see the other one, one said 16min the other said 6mins
@@StillSaber Ah ok, haha yah there's lots of timers going on
Better tools should shorten mining and increase yield..
And the new patch fixed all that so we won't have it be as slow going forward
You kept destroying the platforms you were standing on with your fireball. Lol. You did it more than once to yourself. It wasn't the mobs.
yah that definitely didn't help haha!

@@CancerBoi6789 Lol yah! I thought I'd still be able to get up to the grapple and jump across but nope 😄
