Everything about Rancid the Sergal is so unintentionally funny to me. This guy is the complete opposite of intimidating, talking big game only to flee whenever one of his limbs is chopped off by the people he's trying to kill, murdering a completely non-hostile NPC, his coin-flip attack dealing a whopping _13_ damage. And the way he looks just not being anywhere near the same grotesque, terrifying appearances of any character in either Funger game. This guy's hilarious.
He's also a reference to a youtuber, which is mostly cutesy in design. (Im not going to elaborate, as i really do not want to check their channel right now. Theyre neco the sergal if your curious (they apparently helped popularize fear and hunger 1 on a global scale))

The coin flips can be annoying, especially the Harvestman in the first game cause guarding doesn’t work on it 😅 I almost lost 2 hours of a hard mode playthrough due to it
its actually just a puzzle game. you need to figure out how to deal best with each enemy and how to avoid their coinflips. if you did that, only major bad luck can screw you over.

Since this game doesn't have Book of Enlightenments and a time limit, it makes sense that most coinflips aren't instant game overs. Atleast on F&H 1 you could theoretically save how many times you wanted (as long as you're lucky) and with books whenever you wanted, which makes so that you don't actually lose that much progress if you're smart with your saves and battles.

I had some sort of bug with the priest grab: I suddendly appeared on one of the houses next to the crucifix but my sprite was missing like I was invisible. I could walk but i couldnt open inventory or anything so, I left the building... Finding yourself on the crucifix without legs and the message "you cannot feel your legs" was AMAZING, I thought it was your conscious being separated from your body or something like that, it made the whole thing much more interesting. When August appears, it fixed the bug so I thought it was intentional. Amazing

Hi there :) when you touch the tower with characters in your party, they will Moonscorch and you have to fight them. I had already fought Weeping Scope here and Chaugnar glitched for the game over coin flip and it seems to trigger her death script as well as it gave me her Caressing Soul and made a dead Chaugnar appear on the overworld.
You can bring party members to the moon tower and every attempt to open the door will moonscorch a party member. Rinse and repeat until the whole cast except for you is littered on the ground. Not sure why Chaugnar is both dead and alive though.

Moonscorching is basically a disease that fully takes effect when under extreme mental stress. It's not something you can be immune and it will always turn you into whatever you feel about yourself. The only people we never see moonscorching are Daan because he gets possessed by Pocketcat (A servant of Rher like Perk'ele), Pav because he always dies before turning and August, who's a monster hunter and knows about moonscorching so he unalives himself before turning.
FAH is good but is overestimated. It is not so good, the gameplay is raw and you die all the time and restarts in the previous save point. There are no trophies and low amount of content. I understand it was made by one person, but the game cannot hold among other titles out there :/
The game is supposed to be unfair and that's the fun of it. Some people just like the style of never feeling safe even if they're at the endgame, one wrong move and it's gone. Admittedly this is not a style of game that is for everyone. Games like Pathologic, Fear and Hunger, Rule of Rose, etc. are hard for the sake of being hard and no matter how much good you're at it you can still get screwed over.

F&H pra mim é um desses jogos que não tem como você ser meio termo, ou você gosta ou não. Eu gosto desse estilo simplista do jogo, beirando a quase um roguelike, onde não tem uma campanha de história para você seguir e uma run nunca ser igual a outra.
Fazia muito tempo que eu buscava um jogo nesse estilo, onde basicamente o único objetivo é você explorar uma dungeon e sobreviver até ao final dela, e F&H supriu esse nicho pra mim.
Realmente, F&H não tem uma campanha mirabolante ou um sistema de batalhas muito diferente de outros jogos RPG Makers, mas o apelo é justamente, pelo menos pra mim e muitos outros, a rejogabilidade do 1 e do 2.
@@alysondavy2485 Eu falo pt também. Eu concordo com vc. FH até da para dar uma nota "10", mas é aquela nota que vc daria pelo esforço e pela lore do jogo que realmente é muito boa. O problema só é que o jogo não tem uma boa estrutura e não tem muito o que fazer. Vc só anda, e tem alguma luta que vai fazer vc morrer algumas vezes, ou até várias vezes, e vc fica respawnando na última bed que vc dormiu e é isso... Só isso.
