- Watch the Nigerian universities that have their own independent renewable solar power plant, which was built by the govt with funds from a green bond . The other universities will be funded from the $500m rural electrification fund. This has improved production in these universities. Nigerian universities currently enjoying 24hr power supply from hybrid solar mini grids include: Alex Ekwueme Federal University, Ebonyi; Bayero University Kano; Federal University of Petroleum Resources Effurun - Delta; Federal University of Agriculture Makurdi - Benue; Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka - Anambra; Tafawa Balewa University, Bauchi; Obafemi Awolowo University & University of Lagos are on gas powered power plants. Hi, if you are a "Jambite" will you consider any of these universities because of their renewable energy mini grids? Like, share & subscribe, thanks for watching.
If Nigeria can solve power problems, our problems will be half-solved.
Absolutely 💯 It's already happening👍ua-cam.com/video/85O20T1QSj0/v-deo.html
U can say that again and again dear 😘
if and only if
Chi plenty of Energy projects going on Nigeria, by 2024 Nigeria will have 24 hour electricity.
@@kevinemmanuel8525 can't wait bro👍🏾💙💛👊🏽
Very educative and insightful
Thanks Victory & long time man👍
Another world class production from Nedmedia. Thank you very much for keeping us out here in the diaspora informed about the great work going on back home. Your post made me very happy and I'm sure a lot of people felt the same way. It's been a long time coming my brother. Lack of electricity has kept that country stuck in the 18th. century. Thanks to Global warming, we can now begin to tap the abundance energy that the tropical provides. Also, I didn't know there were so many Federal Universities in Nigeria. I'm really impressed with these developments and it augurs well for the country. Keep up the good work my friend. Thank you! Peace!
Thanks James for the amazing compliments and wonderful insights👏
Thank buhari Nice one
🙄🙄🙄please dont thank Buhari just yet.
Taaaa where is bokohari
ATBU BAUCHI, the solar powers the ICT infrastructure
Your videos are always a thing or Joy to watch.
Very good, I am impressed. I pray to come home and see them working.
Another great content 👍🏾
Thanks Prince👍
This is great.
Absolutely, thanks for watching👍
You do very good research. Thanks for the upload.
Thanks 😊
Thanks for bringing this home.
Keep it up, I have subscribe
Thanks 😊 👍
God bless you.
Wow this is good!
Very laudable initiatives. This is how many european cities/installations are powered by mini grids. The states must be allowed to take control of power generation/distribution.
Our governors are useless they are asking for devolution of power but the power they govern for now is been misused and people kept blaming federal government.
@@WhoData5816 The problem is that you can't hold them accountable, because of corrupt federal, allowed them to buy Justice, value party affiliation over rule of law and Fairness.
This how they ruined the Country.
Ned "YEs" Media
Fantastic news
The fact that no Nigerian university has been able to solve the power issues in Nigeria is shameful. Universities should be primary source of innovations and ideas
You cannot do anything when it comes to electrification without the approval of federal government. Even if u generate your own power, you have to supply it to the power grid. Nigeria is a complex country
@@talk2luqman That law has been struck down if not this project won't have happened.
@@talk2luqman Doesn't apply anymore....many private companies like oil companies generate power and supply the suplus to the neighbourhood like Chevron office in Lekki is doing and others too. Lagos state govt too.is considering hydropower energy to utilise abundant water resources in the state to generate power for the state and give suplus to the national grid
@@nigerdeltamirrortv9311 It is good to know that
Why not have a list of schools with their installed capacities typed out than reading it one after the other.
This University looks at UniZik
How about Uniabuja!? 🤔
🤣🤣🤣my sweet alma ata. I doubt unibuja has any infrastructure like that. Maybe they are not in the phase 1
@@Kastady
Omayemii... Uniabuja is still under construction but they is steady light there
As far as they still use diesel generator that makes it funny. The essence of solar energy is to afford using generators
Hybrid solar systems use two power sources, if you depend only on solar, what about cloudy days?
That looks like 500 million Naira(=N=500,000,000) solar power system rather than in dollars to me.
You didn't finish watching? It's for many projects, also the green bond financed the first phase.
@@NedMedia Okay. I didn't see the other Solar Power projects till the middle of the video to the end. Thank you, sir.
@@NedMedia On the long run it is cheaper to go renewable that gas.
Why does he say, “ YES” intermittently?
Is that what you want to hear?
He uses "YES" and "ALRIGHT" as a figure of speech to denote OK, let's move on.
Mr Sowore's idea very good.
Which ideas
Seriously, our leaders need to start investing in renewables. We cannot wait for the world to tell us that before we take actions.
Stop analyzing opinions in your video, just show us the development on ground and we judge for ourselves sir.
