Thanks for that. I have all the Schmidt cards, including two rookies. My kid loves Harper, and I've warmed to him over the years to the point I think his rookie is a good buy...so I'm on the hunt. Unsuccessfully, thus far.

As a major fan (along with my daughter) of The Office, I delight in your Michael Scott clips -- a study in absence of self-awareness. This episode reminds me of why I'm not particularly sad about the demise of "card shows" in my area. In the overheated 1980s and 1990s, I encountered more than my share of humans -- dealers and attendees alike -- whose main stock in trade was a combination of snark, belittlement and braggadocio. I think most of them have long gone into Pokémon and play toys.
Newly orbiting asteroid🤣. About 7 videos deep and I'm not even a Phillies fan (but Shane Victorino was the bomb - Hawaii Represent) but I'm still following your pick ups. Great story telling on your card collecting journey.......man theres a lot of characters out there in the wilds.

The current broadcast team still talk about Puddin Head on a fairly regular basis. Probably because they like to say his name, but it keeps him in the consciousness.
I can see a scenario where that could happen, but I want the dealers to know I'm a fan. I do my homework, fastidiously, so I'm confident I cannot be advantaged.

So - as a collector/buyer, is it better to wear your team colors, or is that a mark for the dealers to attempt to take advantage?

Where do you find these small shows?
There are some good online resources for show. I live in NW Arkansas, so have regular shows in Bentonville, Conway, Tulsa OK, and Springfield MO.
