I'd say the Skins it gets are good looking. It gets 4 total. The default being the Pakistani skin which is a nice color combo. The GE skin which uses PLAAF markings which also looks nice. There is a Bangladeshi skin on the market which is also very nice looking. and finally my favorite looking skin that it has is the Sudanese camo which was the preorder bonus.
Should tell all my teammates that this plane is borderline OP. So many times I've had these planes die right away and leave me fighting the entire team full of F5C and A10s.
@@strafetazumobile i can see any of us playing for another 1-2 years up thats up to you. they should just do a massive jet update and grounds than add them individually but we all know gaijin as well. add a broken top tier or premium, nerf it later and rinse and repeat
I got it a few months ago, made me enormous amounts of SL and I have J-7E and J-8B with unlocked without even trying as I used it mostly to make SL. Best premium in the game hands down
for sure. if you know how to use it and know its limitations, it is actually insane. 3/4th bomb a base with rockets and bombs, climb and start slinging magics, and at around 800kph it can actually turn really well along with great energy retention
Personally I have had horrible luck with the a-5c getting spawn killed and missiles not killing even when hitting and taking 3-4 pass arounds on a base to destroy it getting out turned by other things (like f-5c and more) kinda sucks in my opinion but my play-style is different
So, it has very good energy retention and turns badly above 800-900kmh but on every single one of your turns which you usually start above 1000kmh you never get off burner or deploy the airbrake, how do you expect to slow down when you are doing everything you can to accelerate as much as possible?
I had this situation on an A-5C when I used EFS and after losing only one engine, I got a kill (and won the match) flying on the second engine. Britain suffers.
I bought this aircarft at level 67 I am not the best jet pilot but I avg about 3 to 2 kills a game (2 air kills with the op air to air) and a cannon kill and a base and most of the time some ground target kills very op in my opion would recommend getting it
I acctually enjoy the Mig19's in Soviet and German tree, still its kinda hard to participate against rockets. But the A5 turns really bad so Idk, maybe I will pick it up, or maybe I will get th Ka50...
How about its "predecessor" the Shenyang F-5, (since i already brought during the GE sales of the leftover gold i had, and I actually kill a lot of F-5Cs and A-10As with it, despite its the 1st MiG-17 i actually played - i skipped the Russian -). I still say it should have gone down to 9.0 with the F-86s!
The Shenyang is an absolute turnfight monster and the guns hit like a truck but as it doesn't have any flares you will die to missiles 9 out of 10 matches. Also the engine likes to heat up quite a bit but that's not a big problem.

Hello I’m watching this a year on when it is on 50% off and I’m not sure whether is should buy this as I am playing Britain currently and am trying to get the gripen. Should I buy the a-5c or wait for a sale on a British to tier ?
I think Gaijin should remove the Magics as 9Ps are good as well but a bit more balancing. No more ridiculous AAM turns - instead a bit more range. I usually don't like playing the A-5C anyway Yeah you can kill almost a base of your own and then have 2 Magics but the bad cannons break the deal for me. And to win fights you have to get yourself and the enemy slow and so you get third partied a lot. The F-5C can just fly circles around anything and actually hit while doing so. But both a great planes.
Now imagine the mig19's,sabres,mig21 f13andS,miliam and after planes that can't bomb base and have no good missles,are slow and even worse guns then the Chinese 23s that still have to get the enemy slow but no one them even have flares so u can just run to a10 or su25 and they cant do shit and also they are not premium and at 2/3 countries u don't even have a choice but to play them cuz can't grind the rank 7? It amaze me how some people will complain about anything
@@ISt0leYaCheese Well you should just compare it to 10.0 or above planes because that is what BRs are for in the first time. And I played a lot of these jets and could complain about them too. But this review isn't about them so my critic about the CL-13 isn't appropriate here. It amazes me how some people just get triggered by anything 😉

Could somebody pls explain why i always get uptierd with my mig 21 wich is 9.7 and like i have only r3s and r3r missles (around aim 9b level missles) and i always get uptierd and i also always face then all aspect missles and that kind of shit, how is this balance every game i go in with my mig 21 i have to face always better planes with 10x better missles than me
Don't buy this shit in 2024. I have constatn uptier games in this and that makes this plane worst plane in the lobby for 60 euro/dollars. Dont make my mistake!!!!! This plane could be fun in rank 7 lobby, but not when You have constant uptier games.

It’s amazing how just adding CCIP took this from dud to near OP.

A-5C is an amazing plane. I got it a while back and love it more than some 11.0 or 11.3 jets
It's just so easy to grind RP and SL, it can fight and bomb a base well (just use all 4x500lb and rockets on one base)

Fair criticism, but try using vertical energy to defeat enemies, rather than horizontal turns. A-5C has very good energy retention
