    I just purchased a sitar and it will arrive tomorrow. Don't even have a clue of how to tune it. You video really turned me on and I will stay tuned - pun intended!

    Everyone should check out Chris Hale's old band: Aradhna... Beautiful music. Saw him live before... Totally captivated! Well worth the three hour drive there and additional three hours back...

      it's a raga called Bhimpalasi and it's a "Drut Gat" meaning "fast composition." apart from the composition, the rest is improvization following the raga's melodic rules

      Riju Chatterjee George Harrison learnt Sitar from Pandit Ravishankar and introduced to the western world n some of his Beatles songs . if you listen - Norwegian Woods u will find that. but definitely Sitar is an Indian origin classical musical instrument
