I thoroughly enjoyed this documentary. I only started playing parkour in the beginning of 2022, but since then I've gotten 300+ hours and mag rail has been my main gear for most of that time. I haven't even unlocked grappler yet, but I love Mag Rail so much. I do not plan on buying grappler until i unlock it, so I'll get better at Mag in the meantime! It was so interesting seeing all the history on this wonderful gear. One of my favourite longer type videos, is the game documentary. I'm glad you spent the time writing this, gathering up so much interesting info. Thanks so much for making this video! Wow i have never met a level 300 who mains magrail? Ur kinda rare if u ask me anyways im level 100 and mastered every dash sv and anything u can think of
I am not sure about needing to press space twice to magdash. Maybe it was in the begining, but i am pretty sure, that when i started using it, hold space to wallrun wasn't a thing, and i could still do magdash with only e + space. But other than that, you have really cool content! Keep it up👍
Hey bud, great video, just wanted to point out that mag rail was actually added in December of 2019, when it didn’t have any bounce, the only thing it did was letting you hang in the wall and wallrun in a straight line, It didn’t do much so that was it until the mag bounce was added

Mag rail is one of the first mechanics i really spend some good time analising, i discovered almost all the mechanics without video and etc, this is no bad tho cuz i know thing that a really few people know, like how mag rail really works, it seam not to be a big thing but most people just use mag rail with e + space but mag rail is much more powerful than this, it works increasing your velocity witch means if you use it after a wall boost it will go even higher than what we know as mag jump, and if you add mag rail to gearless dashes its just too op, with coil dash for example if you do it right you can go to max velocity without adrenaline and with just one wall run yeah i like writting
mag rail is the only gear that have a dash mechanic that is not a "bug" cuz as u can see on the game when u do it with the utility mode it does not show the purple number but with any other dash it happens

at some point it was changed that even if you had hold to wall run off you could mag dash by just pressing space once

viewmodel transparency on settings
Coil jump then mag dash. Its as strong as two grappler dashes
it works to any dash you just need to add mag rail before the wall run and boom u have a stronger dash
