Just because a young man at PTP or L2L is wearing a suit and carrying a Bible does not mean he has the Word in his heart. Looks can be deceptive. Too many congregations in the Lord's church try to attract new members by promoting their gyms, their fancy kitchens and meals, their coffee shops, etc. The emphasis should be on building up the saints, proclaiming the truth, seeking the lost, providing for the needs of the brethren as well as our neighbors, etc. I've seen congregations more interested in their social clubs than in promoting the Word.
The question is how is what the bro said. Look at the parable of the sower especially look at Mark 4:13 Jesus said if you don't understand this parable how you going to understand all parables
Thank you, brothers, a laundry list of requirements makes for a GOVERNMENT type of environment. It becomes world, and political, making the common man/woman feel less than. It also makes the church look snobbish, classist, and out of touch with your average joe.
Amen... brethren.
You young men in Christ maintain your zealous good works in Christ's inspiring words. Noah's generation refuse to take heed. In my prayers. Good job!

Amen! Amen! Get back to the mission! Everything is not a ministry
The church can not be called out if people pollute it with worldly things.

Of course we supposed to equip the saints, but if the Christian don't understand the parable of the sower how's it going to be able to teach others?
Thought provoking and biblically sound discussion as always. Thank you
Go Brothers!!! Gooooooo
