Absolutely! And of course the cameras auto exposure does no real justice to how mad bright these guys are. I just consider it an essential in the flying bag these days.

Thanks John! Yes, i really wanted to return it when i got it, based on what it costs against what you hold, but after a week of use i have to admit i absolutely love this little light. I keep trying to find a reason to not, but it's functions are all very usable and versatile (even if the UV part is only to charge my watch lume!) and with a two year warranty.. she's looking like a keeper!

Thanks man, appreciate it! Good choice on the Rovyvon, its defintely my current favourite, you'll laugh when you see how small it is, but it really packs a punch in the dark, and the lantern mode is amazing clipped to the top of a hat when you soldering or packing up a flight bag in the dark :)
For the edc18, the included glow gasket is just your ordinary glow in the dark silicone... Try searching turboglow gasket for the edc18, you'll be surprised that it's much different from the free one that came along. Glows much brighter and holds the glow for a longer time....

Enjoyed the video, I've recently picked up a Rovyvon A28U & a Klarus G15. The Rovyvon is for EDC and the G15 for long night time cross country dog walks. I've also just ordered an FW3A direct from Nealsgadgets which is why I asked about the serial numbering on your other video. I have not seen the serial numbering on any of the FW range from my few days of research. Did you order yours from Amazon or Banggood? If it was via Banggood, how long did the shipping take? Thanks in advance.
On anther note, if you like the A5X, the A28 offers much the same but with 1000Lm output and longer runtime, it's a great light but for the colour tint of the Cree XPL HD V6.
Very enlightening NJ..... 🤔😃 Seriously though I always have a Coast G19 flashlight in my pocket at work (I'm a carpenter) really useful for looking under floorboards etc. and great quality. Thanks 👍👍

Rovyron A5X is my favorite! Questions: Is the battery replaceable? Also, since it's only 14 grams, please strap it to a quad and show us you flying it in a pitch black field! That'd be co0ol! :0
NJ, have you ever bought or used the UV glue from Banggood? Super cheap! Just a few bucks. It never dries by itself....you can put some on your quad, walk away, and come back tomorrow and it's still wet. BUT! You apply UV light to it, and it virtually dries immediately! Great for in the field repairs of our quads! I've used it a lot on .ufl connectors, because they are such a load of total crap! Now I use the MMCX, almost exclusively, because that .ufl fails so often. But, that Rovyron A5X with the UV light, would be awesome for in the field repairs with that UV glue!!!! Plus, useful for find quads too! lol Thanks for the co0ol review! I here by award you with the Fleshlight & Quad expert award!.....ERRRR......flashlight! My bad! lol ;)
haha! :) So the battery isnt replaceable on this one officially, but its got a good battery under and over voltage protection circuit so i think it will last a good time. Pretty sure the warrenty is 2 years as well. Great idea putting it on the quad, ill have to give that a go!
Neil I was out yesterday looking for a flipping go pro that I lost the day before that hahah I strapped a unify and a eagle 2 pro and a flashlight to a plastic tube to look down rabbit holes in the field hahaha love the review mate ldo4life
Lol! 11 out of 10 for effort! Did you manage to find it? I've lost a gopro in the past.. Worst feeling ever. As long as you know its there you just have to go back and hunt for it!

the hardest question of all! hmmm so tricky... but if it had to be a one for all scenarios it would probably be the EDC18. Its incredible funtional, small enough to be classed as an EDC, a great price and you can mod it if you're into that :)
Flashlight Fetish, is that a thing? UV for avoiding scorpions and fake bank notes.
