Should definitely get Gino involved in something if you got his number. What a cool dude who has gone through hell and still shines such a light! Absolutely love your channel man.
I feel like nate doesn’t get enough love here. That man let 2 strangers stay at his house for more then 1 night washed and dried there clothes gave them warm showers and a nice roof over their heads. Discovering connection, nate and gino top ppl🙌. Brilliant video.
My husband, family and friends use to get so mad at me for bringing homeless people home to shower and eat and 99% of them were great people with amazing stories that were just down on their luck. So many of them were vets. Thank you for showing the good side of people
of course. What these boys do is not far from what those in the forces have been through. Except. In the forces you have backup, guidance, orders, provisions. When you hitchhike like this. You are putting yourself in more danger and are being more brave than most people in the forces ever have to really be (not including front liners) Besides from that. Most veterans knows what it's like meeting the police force with a backpack on your back. Any conservative states police forces are always harrassing veterans and hitch hikers. (That setup in the movie Rambo wasn't just for the movie, it was a reflection of reality back then. And unfortunately it's still like that most places) Still heartbreaking wholesome to see the kindness in action ❤❤❤

It’s not their job to give free rides to homeless people. As long as they’re not in danger they really aren’t supposed to interfere. He could have easily given them a ticket because they were breaking the law, but he was nice and let them off. This is a nice heartwarming series about the good in humanity. Plesse take your negativity elsewhere.

I went on a similar adventure in 2013 that I called Traveling on Kindness and blogged about it. I passed through DC as well along the way. Obviously this trip is done and over with, but one of my rules was to never ask for money / stuff and only accept money / stuff if it was offered to me. I didn't feel it was appropriate for me to be asking for help when I didn't *really* need help, I artificially put myself in this situation to prove a point (people are kind). What I found was that so many people would just come up to me to talk and ask me what I was doing and sure enough so many people offered me stuff out of the kindness of their hearts. Much like early on in this video curious people just sort of wanted to help organically. Pretty awesome adventure so far!
Thank you to all the kind hearted people that helped out. I myself like to avoid this sort of stuff but once in a while when someone does need the money to take the bus or eat food it's a pleasure to help. It feels nice to support a complete stranger and make their day a little better even if it was money and time out of my day.
You've got really nice social skills. What an adventure you had. The most random philanthropic stranger thing that ever happened to me was an employee at a gas station upset I didn't win anything on 100$ worth of scratch off tickets, whispered in my ear "Let's just pretend that you won." She then gave me everything on the grill and put it in plastic bags and said she was just going to throw it away anyway. It was yummy and good for a few days and about 9 meals worth of food.
I started watching this when I couldn't sleep last night & now I'm back to watching. This is awesome. We need more people who are willing to help each other. That's why I love the community we live in. Everyone comes together to support those who need it.
Man this channel deserves way more recognition than it gets. I’d also like to encourage you both to visit America again but avoid the major cities. I’ve been all over this country and can say for certain that the magic is in the spaces oft forgotten.

Just started watching your journey...glad your showing how a lot of us are here in the US...and most of us are kind...media and bad attitudes are not the reality of most of us.
I'm thrilled that you, my fellow Canadian(s) are capturing these amazing moments. I literally could not count how many times I cried and laughed. This is extremely thought provoking, introspective, and a great way to allow us to see the world. The message is powerful, and we all should be more compassionate, but it's sad that most of us fear what could happen. THANK YOU for sharing this experience with us! I wish you all the best in everything you both do, and I will begin to be more kind and giving, without fear.
That cop was either lying or just misinformed. Hitchhiking in Virginia is completely legal, but pedestrians aren't allowed on interstate highways. Busy on-ramps are your best bet! One time while hitchhiking, this wonderful couple got me halfway to my destination, but they lived in a small town off the highway. I usually tried to get dropped off near busy on-ramps, but I had no better choice than to get on the highway to stick my thumb out. A cop hassled me then drove me to the next exit, which I thought was a kind gesture at first, but it was an even smaller town. I had to sleep behind a gas station that night. It took me nearly the entire next day to get a ride, after getting kicked off the highway twice. Funny thing is, my hitchhiking days are some of my best memories ever, that incident included! It was an experience I'll never forget.

A decade ago I met ten drunk australians at a music festival in my country. after a week of fun and drinking together I invited one of them to stay in my home for a week. His friends were travelling to the next country, but he had delayed his ticket a week because he wanted to explore the capitol of my country but he hadn't got the money for a hotel. I ended up being his tourguide for a week, we had alot of fun!

As a life long Virginia native I just KNEW as soon as they got on the side of 95 the first trooper that passed them would stop. VA troopers are one of a kind. Once had a busted tail light, bought a replacement, was on the way home with the replacement to install it and got pulled over for the busted tail light.. showed him the receipt with the date and time and explained I was on the way home to install it and he still wrote me a ticket. Judge dropped the ticket in about 2 seconds because of how ridiculous it was.
So glad this channel was on my recommendation. Gino's story is so touching. I hope he stays in a good place mentally and all. This is quite the playlisy so far and very cool. I seen another video that Liam has an amazing opportunity, you guys should reach out to Gino to see if he is able to go on a few runs with you , even if its just short term!!
Thanks. Work friend and I were talking. He said he can't wait for people to start caring about each other again and stop being so hateful. I told him most people are good. He said that's now how the "media" portrays it. I told him most people watch the wrong media and think that because of that. Asked him what he honestly thought about me. He warmed my heart and kinda hurt my sensibilities at the same time when he told me I was different kinda person (in a good way) but most people think like him. Then we asked our other people at work their opinions. They said similar things. He was right... kind of.
11:45 it started with the forbidden fruit. There's a really good book that explains it well and 10 rules to follow seems they would fix a lot of our issues, for a lot of people. Much love to all!
Leave it to some Canadians to do the unthinkable in the US! I can sort of relate, because many years ago, I lived as a beggar in Mexico. Yes, a white foreign guy asking for odd jobs, food, rides, etc. in rural Mexico.( I was homeless in the US at the time, and so I chose to wander about in Mexico, where I knew that the people would be a bit more kindhearted). Believe it or not, I, on average, was "earning" more than the Mexican minimum wage daily. People gave me food, money, and almost, without fail, let me stay in their homes( or outside of their homes). I was never assaulted, except by Mexican police and military, who on at least 3 occasions, held me at machine gun point, thinking I was Central American ( who are, by and large, treated pretty bad by Mexican authorities). After seeing my US passport, they would just stare at me in disbelief. Every time they would release me, and only 1 time did they extort a small amount of money I had on me. One major difference in Mexico, is that it is not illegal to beg, or walk on the highway, or sleep alongside the road, or along a jungle river. In Mexico, if you get hurt, or assaulted, oh well, the government is not required to assist or help you, as they are in the US. Anyways, good luck on your adventures!
I think by now, everyone basically knows who you guys are so it shouldn't be too difficult to find rides and food. Especially when they know they'll show up on your UA-cam show for helping you guys. Either way, still entertaining and good to know there's still SOME genuinely good people out there.
Hell yeah I love this. I hope you guys are not disappointed with the views on these videos, I imagine you expected more but remember that the experience is priceless ! (Also it might go up later !)

Absolutely love this channel, your series, your great editing and entertaining journey. So inspiring and can't wait to keep watching!
Thanks so much!
And it's cool to see this cool PPL helping :D
Hope your journey has been good with new experience and positivity.
I love Paul. His joke, his mindset, the fact that he’s conservative. He’s great.
That broken family convo is so real 🤌🏼
He was right... kind of.
Thank you UA-cam algorithm, this is just the fucjing series I needed right now.
Love you guys ❤😊
This series is amazing! Can't wait for the next episodes.
Oh I saw the credit for Craigslist Joe. I automatically thought about that series. That was a while back and it's nice to see that it still happening
11:45 it started with the forbidden fruit. There's a really good book that explains it well and 10 rules to follow seems they would fix a lot of our issues, for a lot of people. Much love to all!
Can’t wait to see next week! I love how so far we’ve seen people come back and let you guys stay think i saw it in the first video too ❤️
Leave it to some Canadians to do the unthinkable in the US!
Awesome to see you guys popping the bubble!
*amazing series this is what youtube is all about!! The people you meet are so cool and share interesting stories Cant wait for ep 3*
I think by now, everyone basically knows who you guys are so it shouldn't be too difficult to find rides and food. Especially when they know they'll show up on your UA-cam show for helping you guys. Either way, still entertaining and good to know there's still SOME genuinely good people out there.
No one knows who we are haha
