I'm gonna be honest, I've met a lot of rich people, the only ones I've ever seen who are not normal are TV rich people. Normal ones you probably won't even notice. Went to church with my Grandmother for years, didn't know one of the families there were worth like 50m until I was like 18 and they wanted to do a party for me and my buddy graduating. Got to their "house" and their garage was the size of a midsized home. Saw like 8 cars, and they had a hey ride that they let people get on that went all the way around the property. For the southerners that know what I'm talking about by hey rides, you had a great childhood. By the way the hey ride was a couple miles long.

I think that we open up according to the smartness of our guard. This guy, first makes a screenshot and sends photo to community. Gets feedback from Judi, who he knows and trusts. Then meets them OUTSIDE his house and sees what kind of people they are. And then puts them into his house where his family isn't yet, but his dog is. And all this with coolness and warm heart! He does have guard, but a much smarter one than other people.

In my opinion the point they’re trying to make is there is. There’s a huge stigma attached to strangers (and don’t get me wrong there are evil people in this world) that we try our hardest not to stray from the bubbles we create and know well. If more people could be open minded to this idea we would have much more community among our system. If you weren’t scared of who your neighbor might be would you be more inclined to knock on their door and invite them to a family bbq?

They may have had a situation in their past like a robbery, and like someone else in the video mentioned - This is a good tactic to case a house. Being on a lake/river doesn't help with this - Because that is access at all hours.
We have some estates on the river near me - Very well secure, Security everywhere - 7 houses robbed in 1 night. (I personally think it's an inside job with the security) but it was very clear they used the river and a quiet boat to get in and out.)
