I have a suggestion: can you make videos about protection for both lesbians and gay men? All too often, issues pertinent to lesbian and gay male couples are omitted from most curricula that discuss safe, healthy sexual practices, instead focusing on a narrative that is very much centered on the heterosexual experience. Keeping it in a video with the concise, accessible format that all of your other videos have would make it easy for lesbian and gay male teens to learn and retain any info.
Also, I've seen in the comment section on another video that someone suggested you make a video about Asperger's syndrome. I would elaborate on that and instead suggest that you make a video on autism in general, highlighting the sheer diversity of the autism spectrum and how Autistic people communicate. Many nonspeaking people on the spectrum communicate in a variety of other ways, usually expressing the same desires as any other person their own age through such means. I say this as an Autistic person with an Asperger's diagnosis, but who has relatives who are nonspeaking AAC users and would love to see them more positively represented and normalized.
Anywho, keep up the excellent work, Amaze! I wish I had videos like these in elementary and middle school. They would've helped me a ton!
i agree in both suggestions, it would be really nice to see same sex sex-ed, especially considering the channel has so many videos about it, and i also am an autistic with a asperger's diagnosis, though i am a little nervous if the channel will handle it as well as the other videos, because i really would be sad if it didn't D:

but the methods for women stop ovulation? if it is as simple as you said, should it not be fairly simple to prevent sperm production too?
okay i get what you're saying about sperm still being produced, but women also experience pains, acne and mood swings though
Hi Aisling Beirne! Michael H. did a great job of explaining why there are hormonal birth control methods for women and not men. Girls and women release one egg a month. So it has been a lot easier to stop one egg from being released to prevent pregnancy in comparison to the millions of sperm guys release when they ejaculate. Researchers have and continue to look for ways to develop birth control for guys so that there are options for everyone! Thank you for your comment :)
Aisling Beirne because only one egg is produced in a female and millions of sperm are produced in a male, so it's harder to stop the millions than the one.
There is a pill for men. It is in the works.

in school we never covered it and as a gay female, i have no freaking clue. we talked about STDs and to wear a condom to prevent it, but what about lesbians?
i don't plan on have sex anytime soon, as 1) my girlfriend lives almost 10 hours away from me, and 2) i'm only 15. my mind wanders and i have questions about things. i don't want to be a 20 year old with no clue about safe sex between me and my partner.

Great question! YES, you DEFINITELY have to take the condom out of the packaging in order to properly use it--you won't be able to use it if you don't. jazz b Abstience teaching has been proved to increase STDs and teen pregnancy. It is better to teach even if it won't be used. Plus birth control and the patch can be used for problems with the menstrual cycle not just sex.
MeowShoo I don't believe I was calling for abstinance teaching but ill bite. Im just saying that ,as the freethinking decision making beings we are, that we have the ability to choose NOT to copulate. Plus the abstinence education statistic does not account for sociopolitical effects,seeing as its not necessarily only the educational system that drives kids.Heck, many kids already have preconceived notions on sex prior too* schooling. We are humans and most of us will want to have sex, it's part of our basic natural. Only a very small group of people will even want to go abstinent to prevent dieases and pregnancy which is why safe sex education is taught.
