MTB gang, where you at? Our roads are no less than trails 😂
I have a hybrid hardtail
Hey bro 😂
I have a XC hardtail...😄😄
ya these roads are made for gravel bikes.. you're riding way too thin tires :D
Yup, need mtb, even gravel have a hard time on this trail
This won't change until politicians son/daughter start cycling ;)
Haha its not like that it’s just we do our job right and inspire people around us, this will start making it better. Rest is possibilities
@@CyclingPrince hey bro I saw your mumbai to goa videos.i am planning the same by this month end. so I may bother you with some questions.hope you don't mind.
@@mandarjintikar always open for questions buddy ❤️💪, I would love to answer all. Yes please let me know 😊.
That’s a great route you’ll definitely enjoy.
@@mandarjintikar bro can i come with you? 😂
No key in my area only a few people ride bicycles and there were so many cars on the ROAD parked , but when I started riding each day 2 to 5 hours , everyone started coming !!
Now everytime you come in the evening , CYCLE HI CYCLE.
MORAL: if you want to make a change , be a change . Start riding and make others ride . Many people togetherr can make a change. .
Finally met a UA-camr who openly criticises the authorities. Keep up the honest work. And really nice video regarding road bikes. You sure cleared some serious doubts. By the way, I use a folding bike. I also her for long distance touring. And yes, the pathetic condition of our roads, especially back roads, does fill me with apprehension.
Your Watch Strap Is So Annoying 😂😝
Awesome Video 🚴🏻♂️
Yeah buddy it is 😅
@@CyclingPrince ❤️
Very informative video mate! Keep it up! We can also try to put 28mm or 28+mm tyres for more comfortable ride. Also we can loosen up our elbows and knees while passing through a pothole to give minimum jerk to the bike.
Thank you for this video...was quite helpful!😃
My pleasure brother 😊, yes they help in having a smooth ride. Keep riding 🚴♂️
@@CyclingPrince basically he is suggesting you to turn your road bike into gravel bike
This is why I got a gravel bike. 700x32c can go all the way to 40. Disc brakes, flat bar but road bike geometry and groupset. Bit heavier and slightly slower than proper road bike, but more practical for our roads. Zero punctures so far 3000km.
Which bike,model?
This was a major question before i purchase a road bike. Super useful video man. Thanks a lot for showing it. You do repeat a lot, but its ok.
Enjoyed watching the amazing road conditions where you ride. I dont understand your language but looks like you enjoy riding. Greetings from Australia 😎🚲
I dont think he is enjoying 😂😂 but ya it is enjoyment for xc riders
Thanks a lot for this video! I use a MTB just for all the concerns you said but thanks to your video I can now think of getting a road bike finally! Always wanted one! Lots of love to you and your team! Keep it up :)

Indian highways are not at all suitable for cyclists.

Hi, is it okay to fix saddle bag on road bike. As I’m riding 5000km from Bangalore India ride. Pls reply
Hi buddy yes go for Apidura saddle bags they are best for this
Thanks prince, I’m travelling from Bangalore to Longewala on road bike 5000. MILENGE kisi mod par. From tmrw
100% correct bhaiya.
We should take a stand to do something for cyclists like us😔
Thanks for these information. I was looking for this kind of video from long time. Thanks anyway 😊
My pleasure buddy 😊 thank you
Glad to have you have man, not everyone takes an opportunity to introduce something new to India. You are really doing well.. Will ride together soon. Take care Man.. You are an inspiration !!
Roads in all over India are same. Cities are crowded and motorists don't care about cyclists. Many times you will feel like just escaped coming under big lorry or crashed by cars. If you still able to avoid all this by riding in early morning potholes will try to kill you.
I bought road bike few weeks back but can't feel safe on roads.
Little better at early morning ride because of less traffic.
One more thing as soon as people see cyaclist motorists will immediately start honking and irrititating cyclists.
Very pathetic and bad road conditions for cycling due overcrowded roads and lacking discipline in vehicle riders.
Yeah sure buddy, totally agreed to your points and it’s us only who have to make it better and hopefully can bring a little change 😊
Absolutely agree with you.
Chandigarh has separate cycle lanes 😇
Same , motorcycle riders and four wheeler drivers start honking in a loop the second they see a cyclist me ;)
once in a traffic there was red light and a uncle on scoooty was honking bruh and the look I have him 😂🤣 he stopped honking at once
How is the hero sprint traveller ?
I dont do any trail but i use MTB as the Roads are very bad . thanks for your info i think will buy a Road bike when i am able to save some money
Hi I am beginner, please suggest me bicycle for long ride. My budget is 25k to 30k. Shall go with Fantom zip ryder plus?
thank you man thanks alot for clearing my main doubt . i m relaxed after wathching your vidio..
What's this model? Can we use it in the rain? Don't rainwater and mud spoil/damage gears or other parts?
Bro, is it me or are you missing a bolt in your stem? Also damn, you could really use a gravel bike.
My eyes hurts watching these😭. Kitna julm hua us bichare cycle pe😂
Should we put aero deep section wheels in our road bike if we have big empty flat roads ??
Yes they will give you good speed and momentum
Yes. Deep aero wheels are heavier than normal rim wheels but studies show that the weight doesnt account much for the drag as much as the wind. Priority is always aero!!
What's up bro pranav. 😂😂😂
@@13ballom lol why are you not coming online on insta?? Whatsaap?
How is the ride and handling?
Totally feel this guy! Even I keep cursing the govt and it's corruption whenever such bad roads appears 😅. This is why I prefer wide tyres as 28cm on my road bike, a little compromise on the speed but ensures a comfy ride and avoids punctures too.
Brother should I buy a road bike in Pakistan for college?? Road conditions are same in both countries. And how often do we get flat tyres??
Need a suggestion, I'm 173 Cm, planning to buy Btwin RC 520, Should I go for Size M or L?
You can go for M if you need more upright and easy position. Otherwise you may go for "L" if you need more aggressive position while riding the bike. If its the first time you will be buying a roadbike , go for size "M".
M! The Triban series runs big. Large won't be comfortable
Hi M will be a comfortable size for you
@@jojojosephjoseph5886 yeah lovely 👍🏻
How much is ur roadbike? Should I buy mtb or roadbike like your area road?
Koi baat ni bro kacche roads par off roading ke apne hi maje maje hai ☺️☺️🇮🇳🇮🇳🇮🇳
bro i am also using a road bicycle and i totally agree with you about this "corruption" matter
Hi prince!, What are your thoughts on Hero Hawk? Is it suitable for long riding? My budget is low so is it worth buying?
My question is the same too
I had a near death experience riding my road bike on a flyover in Kolkata. Literally there was a huge gap in between the metal clamps and I almost came under an automobile. It’s been more than a year since that incident, and I still haven’t rode my bike since then, because of the trauma.
Technically it is illegal to climb flyovers in Kolkata on bikes, especially Maa flyover is risky if you are not careful on "tram-line" type metal clamps put in there. I also wouldn't censure anyone riding on that since the road below was in a very poor condition..
@@Tathagatchat Cycling on any major arterial roads in Kolkata is also illegal at before the lockdown. Most roads in Downtown Kolkata are either damaged and full of potholes of unmaintained tram lines in the North. For that matter, the flyover is closed until 0600 in the morning, until the police lifts the barricades. What is the point you're trying to make?
@@Iam2OBSCENE As I said, I don't blame or against anyone cycling on flyovers (hell, have done that most of the times, even pulled over by KP sergeants lots of times). Also we were frustrated at being pulled over when people doing tripling on motorbikes were spared. But it is up to riders to be careful - those gaps in metal clamps is there similar to tram lines.
OR move over to MTB ;)
@@Tathagatchat I am quite careful when riding a bike. I have been cycling since 12 years of age and I can tell you that cycling in India is simply not about being 'careful of the road' ahead. I have faced bullying by other commuters, handled punctures in the middle of nowhere because of garbage or sharp objects thrown at the side of the roads, on top of horrific traffic and congested roads leading to the highways. Switching to MTB is neither the solution. Why should a rider buy MTB if they are residing in the flat lands?
@@Iam2OBSCENE Kolkata is full of flat roads, even I ride road bike. Yeah roads in kolkata is somewhat dangerous to ride, we need hell lot of balance. But believe me brother I am a long trip rider, and other States has this problem too. Only the point is that you should never lose your balance at any cost.
Anyway get well soon and don't be scared to ride again. Start riding again with a slow pace and all the best. I know in future you can control your road bike in a very better manner in worse road too.
PS: I had more than 5 major accidents and 2 mild accidents in the last 10 years. Now much confident to face the shitty Indian roads.
I am 6 feet wt.115 kg age 52 ride 30 km mountain bike 4 to 5 times a week.
Want to upgrade to road bike.plese suggest which one of triban rc 120 or montra unplugged is more strong for me,,
Road condition is not very bad today
For montra dealer is available for repàirrs
But decathlon is 140 km from my home town
Which bike model are you riding here ?
Can you make a video on all your cycle accessories that u have bought over the years and how u think about them(usefulness)
In the society where I live, the roads are cleaned, dark and paved. No potholes or bad cycling conditions and the roads normally don't stay wet for long after it rains as the roads are in slope shape and the water goes onto the sideways grass lawns of people. Cycling conditions are very good and not too much traffic as well so I'm planning to buy a road bike soon.
At only 1km to 500m highway he me toadbike le sakta hu but I love stunting so I am purchasing. Fittrip snyper mark 3. Batao sir acchi he ya nhi
Prince, I have a question. I have always liked roadbikes a lot more than mtbs. However, i am 6ft 4 inches and weight about 85-90 kilos. Would a decent quality roadbike (upwards of 60,000 rs- something with sora or tiagra) be able to handle my weight even if I ride over bad roads? For you its easy because you are very fit and light... You probably weigh 60 kilos or less so its not an issue for you. But would a roadie suit me?
trek bikes are favourable for india and more size options are available, im 6'0 and ride a trek size large and i have no problems so far
Thanks for sharing your experience. I'm also using a road bike in Mumbai but I frequently get flat tyre whenever my bike hits potholes. Are you also facing such problem? What brand of type of tyre and tube would you recommend that can withstand such issues better. Thanks
Few questions...
What's your bike?
Tyre size and width?
Pressure?
Gearing & Drivetrain?
Average speed?
Maximus Distance and average distance covered?
Any pain?
Which camera r u using in this video ....???
Konsi achhi hai raod bike maximum speed ke liye

@@CyclingPrince great ... how did u hang it ..?
Indian road conditions are the precise reason why I went for a gravel bike instead of a RB. Now, I have even gone tubeless considering how annoying a puncture can be if it is miles away from home/bike shop!
Nice information I got, I was searching for
can the road bikes be good for Delhi to Chail/Shimla trip ? planning/travelling solo.

Bro just go to cyclop.in . Im not sponsored by them or anything. I was looking for bicycles and found that they have all kinds of spare parts for cycles. You can also check out bumsonthesaddle.com
Thanks bro! All my doubts have been cleared as I am planning for a good road bike. I was just wondering how much do decent double walled rim wheels cost and what are some of the good brands for these wheels for a road bike? Thank you so much 😁
if you're going for a roadie at least get one with minimum of 28" wheels. New models also have space to upgrade to 32" sets. Also a set of good tires like the conti gatorskin or schwalbe durano double defence will be good.
Please suggest a road bike I am a beginner .
Good vloog buddy, what's your opinion on triban and riding it in rainy season.
Hello Prince. Enjoyed your video a lot. I need your help. I am planning to buy a road bike with Sora components. My dilemma is if I can use the brifters (drop bar brake levers) with my smallish hand. Your opinion Please.
Hey Bro Which BiCycle You Ride? Company Name? 🤔
Hey prince, absolutely loved this video. What about double wall rims with 18 or 20 spokes only? Does the spoke count affect the durability? There is this roadbike I really like which has double walled rims but has 18 straight-pull aero-bladed steel spokes. Im concerned because my current bike has 38 spokes and is double wall and this wheelset is heavy, but also bombproof.
Bro I have been doing 40kms on every alternate days on my MTB since quite a while now. But now I want to shift to a Road Bike. But I don't know how they will perform on Indian roads. Mostly I will be riding on smooth Highways. So should I go for Road or Gravel Bike? Will Gravel bike give me the same speed on good roads?
Bhai koi problem nhi Roadie lelne mai bas potholes mai aram sai 😅😅 payar sai jana
take care of your watch band... i saw this half strapped condition in few of your videos
