Absolutely love to see ravens watch again! Can we get more with the wholesome verse?
Parrying in damage mode sounds like you would get an extra 100% from boosted damage taken. Insane skill ceiling from such a simple mechanic
Honestly this is how more action RPGs need to play, the combat is so thoughtful all of the time. Yeah I guess you can interpret that as stressful, but I want to be engaged and challenged personally.

Can't wait to play this character, mess up almost every parry, than hit a crazy amount of parries in a row and yell "JUSTIN" repeatedly.
This definitely still feels like a game aimed for multiplayer but is still brutal for single player. I hope they can balance that out some more since I don’t want to be punished for not having 3 other strangers to play with.

I feel like that doesn’t apply because I’ve seen people STRUGGLE with multiplayer. It’s just when you’re alone you don’t have a collective’s intuition which helps you navigate the map a lot more efficiently. Plus those that don’t play melee can kind of sit back a little and let their teammates pull aggro. Anybody that plays like that solo is bound to fail. I just think OVERALL the game is hard.

It's kinda disappointing that Western media always seems to like to depict Sun Wukong as warrior when he's more of a sorceror than a warrior.
He's got a lot of magic spells. His hair shadow clone, for example, is a magic skill. What makes his strikes stronger than it should be is also magic. He has full knowledge of Taoist's spell despite not being a taoist himself. He also shapeshifts (that's magic, by the way), he slows down time, he stops time, he can enlarge himself or parts of himself, he can use x-ray vision, kind of (it's called the Fiery Golden Eyes), and he can fricking fly!
That's not all. If he wished, he can breath fire, bend Earth, etc etc, because he has mastered the whole Wu Xing element mastery.
And as a demon, he's master of pyrokinesis.
He does have supernatural strength, supernatural durability, and supernatural agility. However, that's NOT his actual strong point. He does fight like a Warrior most of the time because he rarely met a foe that requires him to fight seriously, but when he got a serious foe, he fights with his brain more than with his muscles. He uses his monkey hair shadow clones to fight physically while he casts other spells.
I get that games won't be able to make a version of Sun Wukong that's just that strong, but at least they should keep the monkey hair shadow clone magic as main skill (NOT Ult skill), because that's the magic that accompanied his way up to the top of godhood. It's what made him a known and feared sorceror among demons. It's integrated into his fighting style.
This Wukong just feels like a warrior monk from the Shaolin Temple, that somehow learnt the monkey hair shadow clone magic
Sun Wukong is a trickster. He's a lot closer to Loki than to Thor in terms of skillset. He got imprisoned under a mountain because of his trickeries. But this one Wukong really doesn't feel like a trickster

You need to do green events first, then yellow and then red.
Also you gotta kill healers first.
This game is also great in multiplayer! I'd highly suggest it

This game has/had so much potential! But for all the dev's hard work, some of their design choices & balancing has left me wanting :/
My enjoyment of the game has decreased over time, when it should be the opposite :/

Screen shake is one of the worst "features" ever.
I like playing the character but can't help but feel having it be Wukong doesn't fit with the rest of the fairy tale theme.
