We use a dispenser in the shower. Significantly easier to maintain. No single serving shampoo body wash conditioner or body lotion. Check every few guests and refill as needed. Clean, neat, and efficient
We've gone back and forth about doing this. Our concern is hygiene, what if someone messed with product or something like that? We had a friend stay with us and they said they prefer having their own packages to open so they know its clean.
I vote ‘no’ to eating guest cooked food or left behind food not still packaged and sealed. Y’all did an AMAZING job, team work is the best… I’ve lost couple sets of bedsheets due to blood stains, as well as bathrobes… ❤❤❤
This is expensive but hopefully will help! I have 2.5 of everything for every guest. The 2.5 sets of sheets for each bed help at a time like this! There is always one on the bed, one being cleaned and 1 just in case. Same is true with duvets, blankets and such. They are stored in a locked blanket chest at the end of the bed. Same is true with towels for both bath and kitchen. This way, if something happens we always have bedding ready to go. Also speak with your cleaner and see if they have a back up when needed. This takes so much off of your shoulders!
The battery operated door locks. I think there’s a place for the key. If the battery doesn’t work, you could leave that in a lock box and you could give it to the guest of some reason the battery operated lock doesn’t work.
It’s be gross IF they didn’t tell you to eat it, just my opinion 😅…praying for you all! Seeing you clean and I mean this in the most sincere way, but seeing that you also make some mistakes when you get bookings is a breath of fresh air. Remember, diamonds are made under extreme pressure. Keep going!!
You can move to my city and buy a house for $3.5 million and rent out top, bottom and lane way on a 1 year rental separately and collect $7.5-$9k monthly on 1 yr rentals in Vancouver Just a thought
I love cleaning my own airbnb I can’t trust no one people are unreliable or won’t clean it the way I do it plus I can offer the home for a cheaper price since I clean it myself
@@HazardonerFTR We'll talk about this in an upcoming video, but our airbnb has been super slow, weekends only really and booking prices overall are down for our area. Thinking economy, mixed with everything going on in the world? What do you guys think?
@@kristenandmichael yeah it might be economy and the season or a mixture of both I started 2 months ago and it was really solid but like I said this last week it was went really down not even inquiries lol but yeah a video about it would be good also a live would be awesome thanks keep up the great work
I think it’s funny that Kristen checks out the tree. Saying it’s alive just needs more water. While carry a huge jug of water in her hands. Dump it on the tree, girl!! 😂
I started using pubic goods and I really like it, you can get the amber color plastic pumps or green which makes them look more boogie, and you can print a label with Seventh Ray on it. Public goods is also phosphate free. And the conditioner smells so good I’m now using it as my own personal supply too
@@kristenandmichael wow, this is great to hear thank you. I would have not thought about using pet stein remover I was freaked when I got a small blood spot on the side of my new CozyEarth sheets on my own bed from our bulldog who had a tooth come out and she had some blood in her mouth and was bugging the bed to let me know I used peroxide and tooth brush and thank goodness it came out but I was super nervous and thankful it was small
Don’t eat the food. It’s two dollars you’re throwing away and the guest coming in early. They’re gonna appreciate me meeting you mine always do just make it quick and explain to them how long you’ll be there 30 more minutes they’re gonna love meeting you no problem happens to me all the time.

I'm gonna say 90% used their own products. It gets used very rarely! I do see your point. We give great amenities - snacks drinks homemade soap books
I don’t ever use products in those dispensers. Yuck.

I noticed in my classroom, they added thick square rods in between the 2 sliding windows Seems pretty sturdy
You two rocked it!! ❤ I hope your tree comes back for you! Hopefully it's under a warranty!

hahah we just laughed out loud. Kristen says "You're so right!"
Also since you’re two hours away, get you several back up cleaners even get to know the neighbors maybe you can find a cleaner close by
I was just thinking you should check it like in Secret Garden! 😂
I was so happy that an airbnb we stayed at in JT last month had public goods and I was so happy to see that
Ah.. I'm so happy to see you smiling and back to life 💗
Kristen what foundation are you using it looks great?
Betty mills Dove shampoo, conditioner, body wash 3 gallons is $80-90. Will last you probably a year
Eat it! Hahaha I’ve eaten a lot of food my guests have left. 😅

Love their stuff. Might have to look into this!
Take it back to the place you bought it. You just got it. They should give you your money back or give you another tree.
Love your jumpsuit too did you get it from Roaming travelers ?
Thank you! It’s actually from Madewell but roaming travelers has great ones too!
Is it a 2 hour drive from your house to the Airbnb?
Oh gosh, how do you clean blood stains in the sheets especially since cozy earth doesn’t recommend bleach Can you use hydrogen peroxide ?
We used baking soda and pet stain remover and it worked like a charm!

Oh and I bought the whoop balls from CozyEarth to dry their sheets faster and help with wrinkles
hydrogen peroxide works great! oxyclean and non chlorine bleach are essentially the same thing. the pet stain remover was a great idea!
I love cleaning videos
Us too!
