- A short video showing my ultra compact rover using the new short suspensions from the Warfare Evolution update and Decorative Pack 3 DLC on Space Engineers with a demonstration on how the new suspensions do on hovercraft as well as a combat test rushing an enemy base with the rover

I still like the normal suspension for greebling and for some rovers with that wide stanced "moon buggy" aesthetic... but yeah for 90% of rovers the small suspension has completely replaced them.
I see c= and yeah x3 the smaller suspensions are just so useful xD
with new trusters we can build suрer small sрeeders, like in star wars
Oo, good point x3 those would be interesting c=
It's pretty impressive the amount of space a single block can save or occupy, I've tested the new wheels on my current Rover-Base and the two blocks of extra width have liberated so much room for all the piping and automation, I'm not even sure wether to rebuild the interior or just rebuild the whole thing, it will have to wait untill I finish my other project which could be way further into development if Ai blocks and event controllers weren't so buggy after un-merging from the main grid.
Ye x3 and yey u wu rebuilding the whole thing sounds like a lot of work xD and awe x -x hopefully black can figure those out x3
Lmfao the Quick re-load is like the holy grail of having a second chance when you push your vehicle too hard or random anomaly’s on Clangs behalf!!
Really that I laugh with relatable vibes when you quick reloaded.
Also imma test it again but if works
I wanna show you how to make a one way mirror.
For suchh compact builds, lower the friction, lower the turning radius at high speedss, disable the brakes on the front wheels (be careful braking in reverse), lower your top speed by half.
Yeah I should have done that xD I thought about that after recording the video x3 but top speed u wu
omg i'm sooo stea... borrowing that compact idea!
xD ♥ yey x3
Reduce friction
Ye I should've done that xD thought of that after recording the video
Gotta protect that noggin
x3 ♥
Luca, you need to reduce the friction to stop flipping.
Really though, the biggest benefit of these suspensions is in tanks, where the previous suspensions took up SO MUCH internal space that it was hard to get much of anything inside. Now you can have things in the tank, and the wheel base and weight are still large enough to prevent the problems seen here with this tiny rover.
Ye u wu I thought of that after I was done recording xD and yeah c= they can be more armored or more compact x3
you can literally make an arguably accurate size golf cart with dem new short suspension lol
Omg good point xD I like caddies u wu
I think it was actually the friction setting that was causing most of the flipping.
See what I was talking about with the short suspension a few months ago
Ye xD they're pretty handy x3
yes because going offroading over 150kmh in a pocket sized mini car is a great idea with no down sides at allllllllllll >.
xD well, just gotta be careful u wu
The only reason to take the larger wheel suspension would be to have a lower center of gravity. Also, you need to lower the friction of your wheels if you do not want to fly off like that when turning
Good point c= and ye xD thought of that after I was done recording
Yeah, short, narrow suspension is highly unstable, and in a physics model that has no center of mass taken into account, you're going to get weird stability issues. I think if your rover was a little longer, for some small cargo containers or the 3x3 one, it could be a liiitle more stable in one axis. For a small vehicle like that I'd rather do a tiny vtol. Otherwise I'd make it 2 blocks wider for stability.
It is cute though.
Yeah x -x I should've lowered the friction x3 and yeah I guess a longer rover would be more stable c= and I see x3 and awe u wu thanks maverick x3 ♥
When Luca makes a go-kart rover that reminds me of, "Smuggler's Run", you know good ideas will happen from bad decisions.
Like the one on GTA Online or xD and ye that happens sometimes u wu
Helmet on (+60 xp) 😊😊
xD ♥
a car
Well, a buggy xD
hmmmm i think u should use an gyro wat stops u from fliping XD i have seen one gyro but i rly think such an small Rover needs a bit of an override of the Gyro i mean u can stop rotation of some rly big stuff why not STABELIZE the rover. XD 100M/s a near 360Kph wat is faster then most sportcars u can go 2 the F1 XD
I do have a gyro but I guess I should put more or one on override yeah xD and good x3 F1 buggy u wu
You are not helping the women drivers stereotype...
I think I speak for everyone when I say you should never drive anything with wheels. Your permit is hereby revoked. I like your helmet thought.
Furry driver xD and rip license, and thanks xeno x3
haha that small golf cart going to fast for its own good
place a railgun op top and make a blackflip everytime you shoot^^
thx virtual Luca^^
u wu also good idea xD maybe large grid railgun u wu and np richard c= ♥
With the hovercraft I made, It should work. However, there still has to be some distance between the areas that can take damage and the wheels. At least that is what I tested with my Swamp Boat. I'm going to test it again sometime later.
I tested it. The whole wheel and suspension area is about the same for cushioning.
I see c= and oo, that's good x3
