Thanks for sharing this video. Had my first last Sunday, started at 10am. Was so excited that I slept like 2 hours. Rocked up with only half an hour to go and got a far away spot. Cold water start, was excited and was struggling to breathe, heart rate racing. Transition took me 4 minutes so lot of space to improve. Was just in swimming trunks, regular road bike so more room to improve there. Run was a disaster, need to do more brick training for sure. Managed a 1:34 which I'm happy with for my first ever after some injuries.
I'm doing the sprint Santa Barbara this Saturday, and I appreciate all the details here, this is great stuff. I'm going to bring my own coffee maker to the hotel, I like to get up early for the same reasons as you. I'm prepared to kill it (relatively speaking - I'm a 49-yr-old, so aiming for podium in my age-group) Thanks for the info!
Nice video, im planning to do a sprint triathlon in a month and feel nervous about it..mostly the swim. Do you have any good recommendations for training in that sense and or in general?
Good stuff as usual. Don't take this as weird but I think videos about personal care would be cool. I'm talking about skin care, hair, etc. BTW, I am a runner and always curious about leg hair. You shave it? Prob many people have questions about this stuff but don't want to ask...
I’d say it’s the most important right underneath actually doing the work. You’ll progress on your own but having a coach is a more direct and clear path toward your goals.
Bro, just post vlogs. We watch because of your vibe. Just do a bunch of day in the life's! Im sure everyone will enjoy!
Will do brotha! Appreciate you
Been waiting on a new one. You helped inspire me to run my first marathon; love the videos man!

how critical is having a coach for tri training?
