From 3:50:19 I have included some silent cracktro's, just as good visually but no music.
P.s: I've book ended this upload with the same cracktro as i felt it was a good way to end the marathon.

You're a legend. Thank you so much
The good old days where the "cracktro" was in cases the *only* reason to insert that disk :)
Often better than the game :p
Amount of the times where I would do this is countless!
@@MrFurious_666 I have to agree with this
True!
a lot of the time the cracktro would have more impressive technical feats going on than the game ever did, it was hilarious
What I loved about my Amiga days... The community it built. By that I mean for me the schoolyard. It brought people together to copy games for each other. In a society now where it's all about getting "likes" and "shares", the irony is social media is kinda anti-social. Back then, you took time out of your day to copy games for other people, and they would respond in kind. Yes, there was a personal benefit for you, but if you lived in those days, I guess you know what I mean...
Magical days, especially seeing a huge jiffy bag on your doorstep full of Amiga disks (sorry Police, I didn't mention anything about copied games cough cough).
Was the same here in Australia :) Couple of friends would use it as an excuse to drop around "Here.. I brought you a copy of XYZ.. it's amazeballs! Lets try it on your system". Five of us sitting on a kids bed staring at a tiny 12" telly. Taking turns at something. Having a ball. Then feeling guilty and saving chore money to buy a copy because we liked it enough to keep and wanted the manual.
irony even bigger is that you mention community (which is alluded to being positive) while mentioning how you rampantly practiced pirating which is antisocial behaviour and hence a negative, not that I personally care what anyone does, just pointing out the contradiction but you're right about the scourge that is 'social media', misinformation, ganging up online to bully others while acting like they're in the right, clicking report buttons on peoples kids picture as 'inappropriate' just cause they are not 100% normal looking and the general trend to people that spend the day on their phone looking at others life's
@@AA-bh3bz Yeah yeah.. how else did you get something to dump with the freezer cart and disassemble so you could copy the thing...?
This was my own compilation which took me a long time in the making to do.
I had to load every amiga cracked game i have, record them, edit them so it would be smooth to watch and finally convert and upload it, 4 hours of it!
Thank you for your service
Unironically though thanks man
i salute you sir, what a legendary move!
@@damocles5047 Thank you.
@@ZEUSDAZ here, you dropped this king 👑
Thanks for your service, Matey.
Such a time specific culture when you think about it - not a simple fad at all but also never went mainstream unlike many other things people used to do in the dark corners of distant irc channels and bb groups back in the day.
IDK, many modern cracks still have this kind of music in them ;)
Electronic music
Still can't get enough of these Cracktros. The nostalgia this brings is indescribable !
Yep those were the days.
I come to these videos to hear these intros and the nostalgia really is powerful. Takes me back to a completely different time with warm fuzzy memories!
What a great video. This should be in a museum, imagine if all these wonderful efforts were lost forever!

+Zeusdaz - The Unemulated Retro Game Channel Thank you for bringing joy into my life! \o/
+Zeusdaz - The Unemulated Retro Game Channel Sure I do
Back in the days I loved these intros more than the games themselves.
Now I still do!
Thanks for compiling them!
Quite a few of my old chippies in this compilation :D
Mark Knight also one of my old chip tunes called Anthrox 5 on here, looong time since I heard that though probably wrote it around the time Ipec Elite vaporised
I had a couple tunes there as well.
I think you mean mod music and not chip tune.
@Brad Allen Nope i do not realise it. All I know is that it have always been mod-files, since I experienced it for the first time in 1991, when I was 14 years old at that time. I know a mod-file compared to a C64/OPL chip tune, when I hear them. I am like, lets call a spoon for a spoon and fork for a fork kind of man. That the way you refer to things over time have changed, is a completely different thing. 😉
@@brostenen To my knowledge chiptune was a style of music, MOD a file format. So a chiptune could very well be a MOD.
47:21 - Paranoimia Super Cars. Music called 'Elsewhere' - I used to load this up just to listen to this awesome tune.
A close second for me is the musc used on the Horizon cracktros. Take me back the good old days!
I enjoy these cracktros nowadays more than the games themselves ! Games move on but the music does not.
I remember that sometimes I left my Amiga on the cracktro playing for hours, instead of going to the game. Many times the cracktro was 100+ times better than the game itself :P
2:25:40 I remember that song from my childhood. I still had it in mind past a whole time. Thanks that I can hear it again
the intros was the best , respect to those who made them , enjoyed them alot back in the days , thanks again for the games and music.
I love the Skid Row cracktro tune starting at 2:49:36... They were among my favorite pirate crews on the Amiga scene :-)
30+ years later I still love the Skid Row cracktros and that tune.
Legend!
Damn is that 4mat - Lff ?? I love 4mat chiptunes
4mat is the absolute best.
6 people have no idea about gaming history.

It's a sad thing :-(
+Wayne Ashworth 7 dumb assholes :-)
Arjen Schumacher Zuckerberg is an idiot though
Wayne Ashworth Or had a console.
Much more than just gaming history; an entirely new grassroots multimedia artform & subculture...
Love this, thanks for the upload and trip down memory lane! Takes me right back to the early 90s and swapping games in the playground at middle school. Pity some of the games didn't live up to the cracktro music. I loved electronic music at the time, all my friends were into metal but I lived for rave and euro dance and you can hear the influence in so many of the tunes. Hard to believe it was almost 30 years ago! Where did the time go and when did I get old :(
Yes, those memories... it was magical time, looking back now. I remember rainy afternoons, running back to home with some copied diskettes, after long and boring school day. They dont make computers like that anymore.
When I was a kid so many of my brother's Amiga games had intros like this I thought they were just part of the released product.
Quite a few cases where the cracktro music was better than the games It'self.
I remember seeing quite a few of these on my dad's computer back in the day.
Same
God I love shit like this. Im only 27 so i missed this era entirely but I just love seeing old stuff from the piracy scene as it existed back in the day.
The first song is the best...
mod.echoing i believe it is called
2:52:16 is my fav so far, I think.
The tune at 1:06:41 brings the most nostalgia for me. Used to have a cracked copy of Zool that had that playing on the trainer. I would put the disk in just to listen to it, and it's been in my head ever since. - so good to hear it again, after all these years.
Sounds like Golden Axe at the start. 😊
Been listening to these for years, thank you for your hard work.
Excellent collection, was a huge fan of these audio visual programming delights when I was a young Amiga user. Crystal 3 (1:34:40) remains my favourite music from back then 😁👌
This is so freaking awesom dude! This basicly sums up my entire childhood. Good times man, good times.
Well if you like this, then you may wanna take a look at my Amiga top 75 music countdown :-)
The 1st track is legend!
Thanks for this! Nothing beats hardware. This is the sound of my childhood!

Enjoy!.............
why the silent ones? Are crack groups that allowed for illegal copying now removing illegal copies of their crack music? What a double standard, I bet they are socialists.
November 2020 ! Still here listening !
lol, good to know :-)
59:02 absolute banger
Cool.
Awesome compilation, thanx for this nostalgic trip. I have better memories of the cracktro's and demo's than of the games themselves.
Haha, eigenlijk zitten luisteren het meest .. wat een momentje met mijn jeugd was dat
The tune at 2:34:00 is a cover from The Droids - The Force :)
Great tune, searched many years for this one. Another masterpiece in this marathon is from Skid Row, they used a cover from Electricity by OMD
Some of these are a total blast from the past!
Oh, this is the perfect soundtrack for getting work done. I still get super pumped listening to this stuff, as if I was still anticipating a game, haha! Thanks for putting all this together, awesome work!
Very nice compilation, and kudos for your efforts in making this compilation.
Those were the days when I enjoyed the cracktros more than most of the games that were attached to them ;-D
Thx for the upload! Have had the Slipstream cracktro melody in my head for the last 20 years without finding it. And here it is. Now i can die in peace :)
Thx a lot!
OMG, 49:55 cracktro for VROOM is sooo out of this planet!
One of the best cracktro sound! I was looking for this comment.
YEA!! I remember so many of these - The Paradox tune at 3:00:26 is sweet! A lot of the time the crack intro music was better than the games :-)
A bit late to the party, but the music is from the intro of the game Leavin' Teramis. (a conversion from the Atari ST)
Take a listen here: ua-cam.com/video/2MyLbKqQEy4/v-deo.html
Damn Zeus you did well! So many memories passed by watching this, almost brought tears in my eyes!
Very happy you enjoyed it :-)
Amazing work, thank you so much for spending time on this!
and here I am again dying of nostalgia wishing it was 1994 again :(
Nostalgia?!, well in that case feel free to pop by my livestream this Sunday from 7.30pm BST, I'll be attempting a world speedrun world record on Bruce Lee for the spectrum, announcements will follow so please sub to receive it :-)
that sounds awesome, I will have to watch it on playback as i'll be on a plane during that time :( damnit.. why dont they have internet on planes!!!
Yes, a few of the cracktro's are missing an inch at the bottom, i forgot to click the "keep original ratio" icon when i was converting, the Accession cracktro is featured again on marathon part 2, this time in all it's full ratio glory :-)
It's great that you compiled all these intros, so many great intros... so good that many times we ended up watching and listening to them for a long time before loading the actual game... Or let them run while we were doing something else! Many thanks for these videos.
Glad you enjoyed them, don't forget parts 2,3 & 4 :-)

Best into tune ever lol, love it. Use to fire up the Amiga just to play this
Yeah, quality stuff.
I dont care about the music , thanks to all the cracked games u guys provided us whole 80ies and 90ies !
Naught naught!,...guilty as charged (with a guilty look on my face).
1:06:42 masterpiece
I'd feel blessed that it's even been compiled...... Grab WinUAE, grab the ADF's, and record! It's a big job. Hats off to @ZEUSDAZ .
This is brilliant! Thanks for timestamping everything. Nostalgic overload!
This is amazing mate, thanks for putting it together. I might use it to unwind when I'm stressed, it's remarkably soothing with the nostalgia chemicals coursing through me.
Enjoy!
The feeling of optimism that these pirate tunes evoke is so remarkable.
Nope, they are all recorded in superior PAL but sadly i forgot to click the "keep original ratio" icon on the divx converter thus 2 inches on some of the uploads are missing from the bottom of the screen...ACCESSION for instance, i will be including that cracktro again on the upcoming AMIGA CRACKTRO MARATHON II and will make sure i click the box before converting.
Thanks very much, was a bit annoyed as i accidently left a space of 5 seconds of workbench screen at 2:58:02 between 2 cracktros, annoyed i missed this small edit after all my editing, was thinking about re-uploading it but that would mean i lose all comments and views when deleting this one :-/
Sorry to everyone for this small error in editing,...it was a big upload after all :-/
"Accession: We fuck everything that moves"
Yep...that's the demoscene all right, real classy. ;)
+Holgast
Known for their attitudes ;-)
That's odd: the first song in this video I know from the intro by "World of Wonders" as they presented their cracked copy of "Twin World". Amazing how I remember that after over 30 years... :-?
You, sir, have OUTSTANDING taste in music. Thanks for putting this together! I grew up with a C64 and always wanted an Amiga but my parents couldn't afford it. We had some financial hard times around that era... I missed out on some incredible music apparently!
Many thanks, I have a "retro game music" section which if you scroll down my main youtube channel page you will see the section, from ZX Spectrum music marathons to amiga music marathons, a 12hr C64 cracktro marathon and many more, enjoy :-)
Please sub if you enjoy the channel :-D
I subscribed! Thanks again!!!
Cool :-)
wow i remember intro to pinball dreams 2. it was sooo good.
Awesome! Thanks for bringing me back to the 90s with my Amigas! :) 500 and 2000! Same interior, different exterior... I feel guilty now for not buying any game; I was ignorant; I was only a child... XCopy
+André Eliassen
HA HA,...good'ol X-Copy,...I'm guilty as charged also ;-)
This might be ten years old, but daymn brother... great job compiling all these! Some of these cracked screens had better music and graphics than many of the games themselves 😂
Thank you.
At least 2021 has some good points, I can listen to these fully while working, the days are not a total loss.
Try my Amiga marathon :-)
@@ZEUSDAZ Already do, and have, and will again Im sure :-)
I miss these days SO MUCH. Staying up until 4am chatting with people and swapping warez, sharing numbers and secret codes. War dialers for days. Amiga community best community.
Yep sadly days that won't be duplicated but It's still going strong on the retro scene :-)
fantastic sounds, I go back in time, childhood days, priceless
i love you for posting this. I'm only 30 minutes in but haven't heard any i recognise from the olden days yet. YET. I might post again when i do recognise one. They're all good even though i don't recognise them. Lol

No problem, just spread the channel :-)
3:45:16 is my fucking JAM
Wasn't this stolen from Battle Squadron in-game music?! ;-)
I wish I knew! Sadly, this was a bit before my time.
That being said, I still have the BIGGEST appreciation for this art!
Collecting cracktros has grown into one of my favorite hobbies. :D
Thumbs up!!!!!!!!!!
Brings back some memories. I wish the scene was still this kewl.
The sequel is on it's way, i'm busy getting my 500th upload ready which i've been looking forward to, then i will upload Marathon II.
awesome! this brings back the good memories of days long past. thank you!!
J.R. Caldoon No problem :-)
Champion!!!! Takes me back to my scened days with the most fondest of memories
Thank you kind sir for a truly special upload.
HORIZON(18:14)
Thunder Cross - First Attack
First step, acquire flux capacitor. Then, possibly more difficult, acquire a mint-condition 1983 DMC-12. Combine the two. Go back to the early 90s and look at the computers people were actually using, and compare to the title of this video.
Thanks, man! Best laugh I've had in weeks.
The tune used in the Oracle cracktro does what it's supposed to do .. rocking that cracktro!
There's only so much you can do with the original hardware and that's before youtube does it's compression deal to them, only full screen will it look low bit-rate, the smaller screens seem ok enough, certainly watchable.
Part II on it's way soon after my 500th upload which will be coming.
mod.echoing - Oh hell yeah! Queen of all cracktro mods.
It's 2023

I love the skidrow cracktro coded by dan/anarchy at 2:49:39, pretty sure i got a converted pc version somewhere on my pc with sourcecode. The music in particular is pretty catchy .
Thanks. Sorry, I did not think to read the description. Stupid of me. Many classic tunes in this video. I'm listening to it at work. Very cool.
Thanks for putting this together, really looking forward to part 2 :)
Thank you thousand times for your great work! I love the amiga and have so much great memories with this machine.
That's impressive! You captured all these from real hardware. You are my insane friend! :D
I did indeed.
Hands up though... If you were of the certain age where you see this shit on your dad's Amiga and had no idea what this drug-looking mayhem was about...
Great video compilation of a great time in a fair few peoples' mid to late teenage years. Cut my teeth doing this kind of stuff ( coding ), and still do it today working in the games industry. A great creative time, full of learning, opportunity, excitement and great way to channel youthful energy. I'm sure a fair few of the talented technical people who created this kind of stuff have gone on to do great things and have had fulfilling lives ( though few could understand their dark secrets ). Well done.

i remember of some cracktro s that i had 30 years ago ! for example Blood Money 😎 20:38 . and now i know why i build my own studio and have a syntheziser addiction !!!!!!! 🤣🙈😎
20:38 Fuck yeah! This used to play before starting the Shinobi game where you were an awesome ninja, throwing ninja stars! I always had to stop for a minute just to listen to this music as a kid lol.
Some great memories from this video, thanks for the upload. Will definitely check out parts 2 & 3.

20:38 is the one I remember, well the tune anyway. I'm sure I remember a more vibrant screen going on.

Already ahead of you. I so miss my Amiga, I'll never forgive the family member that threw my Amiga, Commodore Monitor and some 500 games away at the dump.
I'd love to buy another Amiga, but prices are keen right now. Well luckily theres emulation so I can at least get some enjoyment back in my life....
akaTheWilyFox
Yeah emulation is a good thing if you don't have the real hardware or to play whilst traveling, but seriously you cannot beat loading the game into the original amiga hardware,...it's magical,...i've had m A500 for 26yrs and will never sell it, it's worth FAR more than what i could get for it especially as i have hundreds of full priced cracked games,..a wonderful machine.
100% agree with you there. I actually own 28 games consoles (no xboxes). Whenever possible I like to play with the real thing. Like I said, I can't seem to find an Amiga for sensible money.
Plus emulation is the only for me to go on arcade games.....
28?!...bloody hell!
I own an arcade machine, it sits in my living room, i used to have many boards for it but i mainly got and keep it for Street Fighter 1, the emulations i've seen of that game are still way off in comparison which is a shame as people only see the emulation version and judge it...unfairly with negative comments.
My upload here shows a couple of pics at the beginning of my machine: ua-cam.com/video/NYNPunNhCRQ/v-deo.html, along with that i own 2x Spectrum 128k+1's, Atari 800xl, Amiga A500, Megadrive, PS1 (chipped, so i can play foreign games such as Einhander), PS2 & 3 and a C64, i was never really into consoles, i was a computer game kid :-)
i cracked this game, if you wish to donate send greets or just to write us heres adress... good ol times
Cauda Miller WTF? what game??
+ypoora1 yeah that was hilarious
+Cauda Miller
I also remember that people would openly sell tons of cracked games in Denmark in "Den Blå Avis"(The blue paper) which was a paper (like a newspaper but only for selling used stuff, like Craigslist before the internet).
In Czech Republic the (The blue paper) was ''Avizo'' :o) what a great days...
BarrySlisk You can still buy cracked amiga games in "Den Blå Avis" today ;)
Holy hell I miss these days. Everyone at school had a favorite crack group. Groups pokes jabs at eachother in the cracktros. And the games. I need to get back to the folks and get my old Commodores and set them in my cave.
My fav is 13:09, especially the part at 14:43

No problem.
Very happy these are pleasing gamers of the past and present, yes it took some doing but i enjoyed doing it.
Look out for my 500th upload coming soon, still a secret to what game and machine / console it will be.
Thanks for putting this together. So many memories.
Thanks for the response mate. An interview with someone who was in a group during the late 80s/early 90s would be ideal. Thanks for the suggestions, though I need to base most of my research on academic papers, wikipedia is unfortunately not accepted as a good source. I'll prowl some of the online forums too! Cheers again for the support :)
Very kind, comments like that keep me doing this channel, cheers.
Don't forget to check out parts II & III also of this marathon.
