I use the same brand but a clear case. I enjoy that the case doesn't detract from the looks of the laptop. No screen protector; and I only use the keyboard cover if I'm typing. I don't close the laptop with the keyboard protector because I've damaged MBP screens before in that manner.

I got it in transparent and since I travel with it a lot I don't want to miss it. Still looks original and its protected so I don't have to be extra careful. You still touch the aluminum while using it, only not when closing it. If you only use it at home it's most likely overkill.
As you say, the MacBook Air M2 Midnight is beautiful. I love mine. I seldom see smudges on it, and if I see one that bothers me, which hardly ever happens, I rub it with a finger and it's gone. Smudges are a completely overblown issue. It was hard to watch you cover up something that you claim is beautiful. What's the point? "It's so pretty, I'm going to cover it up so nobody can see it."
Everyone please don't listen to this guy, first a mac case on the display adds additional weight to the hinges that they aren't meant to take, and the plastic cover will leave scratches on your device, second for a keyboard cover, it's an addition between the keyboard and the screen, that won't allow you to close your mac properly, but also damage the screen, and please for the love of god and all that's holy, never use screen protecter, it rips of the screen directly when you want to remove it. RIP to those who follow this guy.

i own a MBA M2 as well. I use the Speck thin case with the same color as yours. The only thing I can suggest to you is that do not put the keyboard rubber. As I have read from users that this cause damage to the screen in the long run. Great video! keep it up.
I've not only heard the same but also there are videos with people whose screens were damaged because of the keyboard cover. The continued added width of the keyboard protector applies pressure to the display over time causing it to develop a permanent line/grid pattern and pixel clouding. Yeah, don't use it.

Got my very first MacBook air last month so it’s normal that I bought protectors etc. but I saw videos that protector can damage the hinges of your laptop because the design of the MacBook doesn’t tend to add more weight, so I remove it all. When I tried to close the lid, it didn’t close at all. It took weeks before it turns to normal. I just bought good sleeve and that’s it..
Note: Using a laptop case is much more worse that not having a laptop case, this is because the top case will cause stress on the hinge and the below case would reduce airflow.
My laptop's hinges started acting up and I had to remove the body protector, now the hinges seem a bit hard to lift and I am using more than one finger to lift the hinge

I just got my M2 MBA and I know it's a personal preference but imo I'd rather invest in a good protective sleeve to carry the laptop. I know we're used that everything Apple needs a lot of casing and protection, but no one throws around thei bag with their tech inside or when you work on a desk the chances of something happening are minimal. And tbh coming from an aluminium windows laptop, ofc they will get scratches and wear overtime, it's a portable device made from a rathr 'soft' metal. Although I still see the value in a hardshell case, I advice AGAINST screen protectors not only because I see it has caused damage for some people, but also the retina display is so beautiful and the cheap amazon glass you'd get to cover it ineviteblty distorts the quality. I just gently wipe it with a microfiber cloth once in a while and that's that. i know we want to protrct out devices for as long as possible, but this whole pristine culture adds so much anxiety to the daily use of such everyday objects. Everything ears down, scratches and changes overtime, just respect your purchase, klean it once in a while and enjoy your new laptops :))
in my experience you need to clean at least once a month because the dust will trapped under your hardcase. It will scratch your macbook except you want to use the hardcase forever.
I got this exact same case, and the top part is so tight it flexes the screen back where the corners don't close. I realized it after a few days and went with a dbrand screen and a nice padded and microfiber lined carrying case
If you are clumsy like me...better use this kind of protection in your investment.. my mba m1 is still in good condition thanks to this protector (except for the screen protector)

Apple doesn't recommend the use of screen protectors because of the design factor of the laptops, they have the exact amount of space between the keyboard and the screen when closed. So is bad for the screen causing it to crack...
I just got an M1 and I use the exact same cover except mine can show the apple logo pretty well. Everything included with yours was also included with mine. Guessing these are being rebranded and resold by various companies on Amazon
Not life saving as the laptop does not fully close. I used it for two days, and took it off already, today I just looked on the side of my air and the lid is not fully closed, not a good thing, so just buy a sleeve or just be careful.

Had mine for 4 months, using the same case in transparent and so far I still really like the black color. It's a fingerprint magnet, but if you clean it 1-2x per week it's totally ok. Ports and charging input still look flawless and also its meant to be used. Its not gonna look like sh*t if you don't treat it like sh*t :)
Up to now everything is working fine. The clips do not bother, once installed the cover becomes one with the macbook. You just have to be a little careful with the clips when you remove the cover as they are very sturdy, but with a little patience and attention it's all good

DO NOT use those clip on covers! They won’t let the computer close properly which can create problems to the hinges and the cables passing through and that it’s an expensive repair.

Do not EVER use a screen protector, hardshell case or camera cover. The gap between the screen and the upper case when closed is extremely small, your screen will eventually Break/crack for having a screen protector or camera cover. You genuinely do not need it and it will do more harm than "protecting" your screen. Instead of a hardshell case, please please please just get a sleeve. A hardshell case will likely end up scratching the paint of your MacBook, especially if you're here with a Midnight, Space Gray or Space Black machine. It is even worse with those darker colors, as bad as scratching already is on a color like Midnight. Just get a sleeve unless you're up for a repair that costs you a whole other laptops.

Do not listen to this video screen protectors ripped screens off when replaced plastic covers warp the Mac and bend it, and can cause the screen to crack and camera covers can cause the screen to crack And keyboard covers on. At least some Mac models will be prevented from having one of their ventilation spots as sometimes the max are designed to pull air through the keyboard and out the back or something like that where the keyboard being open is necessary.
At this price, if the screen can be touched, it is this price. It's ridiculously expensive, even if you compare it to other Windows laptops, it's still too expensive. Some manufacturers have a cheaper price than the MacBook Pro even if the screen is touch screen.
Nah I rather use it raw dude, its more beautiful come straight outta box like that, enjoy it. You better give it nice soft leather, fabric, or soft inside case for storage, and while using it, use with tidy, clean, and safe environment, gentle handling, and you are good to go. Cheers 😄

Please, Please do not use keyboard covers an these hardshell cases. Cases can damage your MacBook hinge over time and the covers can cause screen damage due to the bare minimal gap between your keyboard an screen. Do research on this, reddit, talk to geniuses etc.
This looks like a complete fail tbh. You’ve ruined that cool blue look by putting a black cover on it. Should have got a clear one, black would be good for black, not blue. Then the screen protector not applied correctly at all, needs to be pressed with a card as you go along, once you get bubbles they’re pretty much impossible to remove and it looks awful

I just had the display replaced under warranty, it was 600 with labor on the invoice.
Completely removes the fun of touching aluminum and having a kickass looking laptop. For me this solution is a HUGE pass.

I like that it hides the logo. It was hard to find a case that hides the logo. But I caution not to cover the keyboard, it will damage the screen.

It often happens to me too, to eliminate them I use light detergents, such as the one for displays or to clean the glass

Nah I rather use it raw dude, its more beautiful come straight outta box like that, enjoy it. You better give it nice soft leather, fabric, or soft inside case for storage, and while using it, use with tidy, clean, and safe environment, gentle handling, and you are good to go. Cheers 😄
DO NOT buy the screen protector as it can damage your screen when closed due to its tight tolerance. Also dont leave the keyboard cover when closing the lid. That’s going to destroy the display

Cases can damage your MacBook hinge over time and the covers can cause screen damage due to the bare minimal gap between your keyboard an screen.

This looks like a complete fail tbh. You’ve ruined that cool blue look by putting a black cover on it. Should have got a clear one, black would be good for black, not blue. Then the screen protector not applied correctly at all, needs to be pressed with a card as you go along, once you get bubbles they’re pretty much impossible to remove and it looks awful
