I use the same brand but a clear case. I enjoy that the case doesn't detract from the looks of the laptop. No screen protector; and I only use the keyboard cover if I'm typing. I don't close the laptop with the keyboard protector because I've damaged MBP screens before in that manner.

I got it in transparent and since I travel with it a lot I don't want to miss it. Still looks original and its protected so I don't have to be extra careful. You still touch the aluminum while using it, only not when closing it. If you only use it at home it's most likely overkill.

As you say, the MacBook Air M2 Midnight is beautiful. I love mine. I seldom see smudges on it, and if I see one that bothers me, which hardly ever happens, I rub it with a finger and it's gone. Smudges are a completely overblown issue. It was hard to watch you cover up something that you claim is beautiful. What's the point? "It's so pretty, I'm going to cover it up so nobody can see it."

Everyone please don't listen to this guy, first a mac case on the display adds additional weight to the hinges that they aren't meant to take, and the plastic cover will leave scratches on your device, second for a keyboard cover, it's an addition between the keyboard and the screen, that won't allow you to close your mac properly, but also damage the screen, and please for the love of god and all that's holy, never use screen protecter, it rips of the screen directly when you want to remove it. RIP to those who follow this guy.

I just got my M2 MBA and I know it's a personal preference but imo I'd rather invest in a good protective sleeve to carry the laptop. I know we're used that everything Apple needs a lot of casing and protection, but no one throws around thei bag with their tech inside or when you work on a desk the chances of something happening are minimal. And tbh coming from an aluminium windows laptop, ofc they will get scratches and wear overtime, it's a portable device made from a rathr 'soft' metal. Although I still see the value in a hardshell case, I advice AGAINST screen protectors not only because I see it has caused damage for some people, but also the retina display is so beautiful and the cheap amazon glass you'd get to cover it ineviteblty distorts the quality. I just gently wipe it with a microfiber cloth once in a while and that's that. i know we want to protrct out devices for as long as possible, but this whole pristine culture adds so much anxiety to the daily use of such everyday objects. Everything ears down, scratches and changes overtime, just respect your purchase, klean it once in a while and enjoy your new laptops :))

Be careful when using cases. THey can strain your Macbook's screen especially when closed.

This looks like a complete fail tbh. You’ve ruined that cool blue look by putting a black cover on it. Should have got a clear one, black would be good for black, not blue. Then the screen protector not applied correctly at all, needs to be pressed with a card as you go along, once you get bubbles they’re pretty much impossible to remove and it looks awful

Dude, you aren’t protecting your mac! You destroyed it. Remove the keyboard cover and screen protector asap

Looks ugly. It’s an insult for the nature of the design. If you can’t buy a 2nd MacBook don’t buy one.

This might come as a shock to you, kid, since you probably never worked a day in your life but some people buy MacBooks not as an expression of status or style but as a machine with which to do actual work. They might want to protect their investment.

@@ufukpolat3480 Hardly a symbol of status and style when you completely disguise it by covering it up. Carry it in a protective case for sure, but enjoy it and show it off when you pull it out.
