Hyvää itsenäisyyspäivää! 💙
Thank you guys! 🇫🇮 ✌🏼
Finlandia is such a beautiful and inspiring piece. You did it a great service by arranging it for your unique style.
I was in Finland last year, right during the week of the independence day and I marched all the way through Helsinki with the finnish students, to reach the cathedral and get marveled at the sight of the universities flags displayed on top of the stairs, lit by flames, and I fell in love when they all chanted this beautiful song of unity and patriotism.

Love Finland, from Canada
I played this for my mother and it brought tears to her eyes. It is from her and my grandparents I come by my Finnish heritage.
It's very beautiful song🇫🇮❤
Niin kaunista ❤❤❤
What a beautiful song, sung beautifully. The layering of your voices/the melody was stunning. Thank you for sharing.
Thank you! The amazing arrangement by Mr Häggblom and the superB acoustics made it easy for us
This was amazing on headphones, but once I got home and put it on the Bose Speaker it was an entirely different feeling.
Upea!
Kiitos Pasi😌
Happy late independence day. Fantastic 🥰
this should be finish national hymn. beautiful
Some day it will happen!🇫🇮🎵🎶
Beautiful as always. Thank you for lending your voices to these hymns, and sharing them with the world.
Yes!
As a devout christan. I'm sad to say I never knew this was a Finnish hymn. Consider me educated!
It is not a Christian hymn, not even a religious piece. It is hhe choral part of patriotic orchestral piece "Finlandia" by Jean Sibelius from 1899. Unofficial 2nd national anthem of Finland.
This is actually just a portion of the full 10 minute piece called the "hymn", the full song is called Finlandia and was written in 1899 by our national composer Jean Sibelius. The modern lyrics (written in 1940 by a Finnish poet) tell the tale of how Finland broke free from Russian slavery and oppression and gained its independence. It's the most important piece of music to us Finns, I cry every time I hear this hymn part.
I really hope you guys continue making content. excellent stuff
Absolutely incredible.

The fact that you've incorporated the halo font is somehow very funny to me. Your rendition is amazing, it's just cool to see so wildly different worlds come together. :D
It just happened :)🙏
If we ever get 10k subscribers, we will do Skyrim: Dragonborn🧙
So how's it going with that project? 😜
@@Vapourized90 We have recorded it, a music video shooting next friday:) We are running a bit late on the schedule due to low budget issues, but getting there🥦
Discovered you guys just in time to listen to it!
@@MigratoryWhimbrel Welcome!:)
Jos Suomi olisi itsenäistynyt jo keskiajalla, niin tuolta varmasti olisi kuulostanut Finlandia hymni munkkien laulamana luostateissa. Muutenkin laulussa on keskiaikaista tunnelmaa. Aivan kuin se tulisi rinnakkaisesta todellisuudesta.

Be Still My Soul - I Love the Lord
If anything is cultural appropriation, then making this song Christian is. This song is tremendously important to the Finnish people. It's part of our history and literally was part of the movement that eventually led to our country becoming independent.
@@Silveirias No offense or appropriation intended. It's a beautiful tune that I was introduced to, but hearing it in its origin language and context is awesome. Thanks for pointing me to the history of the tune
🥰
🇫🇮💎
Amazing.
You guys might like the soundtrack to A Plague Tale: Requiem. I think that would be a cool ost to cover!

@@munxgregoriana Thank you for making great choral music.
are they real monks
No. Masters of music educated at the Sibelius Academy ( the University of Music..)
Alkuun oli kyllä paikoin erittäinkin hienosti vedetty mutta sattuko kaikilla 6 laulajalla samanaikainen aivohalvaus vai onko liikaa katsottu pohjoisamerikan käsipallon mestaruusooteluita ku pitää alkaa vääntämään omia sovelluksia aivan liian korkealta ja sekoillen biisin lopussa? Ekat 2:10 oli 7/10....loput 50sek oli 1/10...Ei jatkoon
Lopussa melodia siirtyy bassolinjaan, mikä on tyyppillistä keskiaikaisissa teoksissa, tsekkasit varmaan otsikon:) Kiitos kommentista kuitenkin, ja toivottavasti meidän muut biisit on mieleesi:)🙏🏻
