I was interested in neopaganism and perennialism before finding faith in Christ and learning about the Church. Thank you for publishing this, I think it will help many people who are seeking Truth. God bless and have mercy on us.

I was a hardcore Norse Pagan after hating Roman Catholicism. I was also LDS for 2 yrs between them 3 yrs after which is actually quite similar to Orthodox but it steals truth.
I've been recently discovering Orthodox and truly investigating and it's everything I wanted. The Catholic without the sickness, the truth without fabrication

Why do Christian channels i am subscribed to,whenever I have a thought on something heretical, publish in a few hours something regarding it? Is this coincidence?

When I understood that God is real, I didn’t want to be a Christian because I hated the whole teachings, and I was leaning towards ISLAM heavily.
Begged God to show me the True way…
Next day my UA-cam Algorithm is bombarded with Apostate Prophet, Sam Shamoun, Don’t Convert2Islam, David Wood videos.

@@notaboutit3565 example: my history teacher today was explaining to my class the religions of ancient India (Vedism, Brahmanism, Jainisn etc.) and then orthodox Kyle when I returned from school published a video on the eastern religions and how they are heretical.

But remember time may come when you learn all that and have good discernment, it will be up to your free choice - to follow Truth or not
So in other words - don't always expect grace of God to shield you from lies on your behalf

I enjoy most of what is presented on this channel - as I was received by Chrismation. But, I am troubled by one difference to other channels of Orthodox Priests. I cannot find where Fr Peter Heers serves and I've read from a (overall insane) site that some Bishops declared him as not a canonical Priest. On the other hand, Priests who's status is known and whom I also respect (Fr Josiah Trenham for example) have made videos with Fr Peter Heers.
Is there an explanation for what is going on? Is it something to do with not being released from a jurisdiction? I know two Priests who have not been released from one jurisdiction, but are still permitted to serve with another. It just doesn't make sense to me in this case because no firm statement has been made that I've seen.
I want to be clear that I respect the work of Fr Peter Heers and thanks to his efforts I was able to obtain an icon of the beloved St Dymphna. Also, it is partially due to his online mission that I was sufficiently informed to pursue salvation in the One Holy Catholic and Apostolic Church. This is a genuine question, the answer to which would help many inquirers and Orthodox alike to understand the situation within the Church of Christ and how it is being targeted (as it always is in some manner).

I really can't get my head around the Calvinist idea that God has created Man in order to select just a portion of them/us to be with Him... and all the others to face death... No matter how much faith they have or how they might dedicate their lives to Christ and live according to His teachings. They will still face death, according to Calvinism.
That idea makes God out to be without love.
Even a man with chidren who loves them all and wishes them all to be happy and have eternal life has greater love in him than this God of Calvinism. Whoever the God of Calvin preached of, it certainly doesn't seem to be the Christian God who IS love and the source of love..
I don't see how it can be.

Your first argument is that other views claim to be divine revelations, but those claims are false because only Christianity is a divine revelation. So you cite Christianity to prove Christianity is true, which is not an ‘objective’ argument against, e.g., a Muslim citing Islam to prove Islam is true.
The word religion-root re-ligare, to re-bind-means the same in each instance: a reconnection of the Absolute and the relative, of subject and object, or (in religious terms) God and man. (The meaning of the term yoga is identical.) Just saying ‘Only Christianity is a reconnection between God and man but the other religions are a reconnection between man and man’ is not an argument. The metaphysical theme of reconciling the Absolute and the relative, the subject and the object, what’s called ‘theosis’ in Christianity (whether that meaning is still understood or not), is common to all legitimate spiritual traditions. To re-bind what is separated.
A personal God can only be an aspect of the impersonal Absolute. A personality is by definition relative, meaning it is ‘this but not that’, ‘you but not I’, etc. A personality represents a limit or form, and God must be ultimately unlimited and beyond all boundaries. Certainly God has a personality from a particular point of view, but from a higher point of view the ‘personality’ and the one interacting with it are just two aspects of the same thing. Both the personal and impersonal views are equally true depending on the perspective taken.
The bottom line is that man is not a purely passive entity who is simply acted helplessly upon by the divine. There is no such thing as a purely passive perceiver. There is something of the perceiver in all of his perceptions. Therefore there can’t only be ‘one identical perception’ for all of humanity, when the perceiver himself is part of his perceptions. When measuring you must include the measurer. This is the blind spot of Western thinking, and why there’s such difficultly from the Western point of view in understanding the Eastern point of view. The Eastern view has no problem accommodating the Western view, but the Western view can’t grasp the Eastern view, because it misses half of the equation of reality.

"A personal God can only be an aspect of the Impersonal Absolute." A bare assertion that summons forth a "Says who?" from me.
I argue analogically from Plato that the impersonal is definitionally lower than the personal. You cannot get the higher (the personal) from the lower (the impersonal). It's a category error.

@@tclearytcleary because a personality requires an ‘other’. Nothing that required an other can be the highest reality.

Lack of respect for traditions and for nations does not come from Orthodoxy, but from America.
These are the founding tenets of the utopians who founded America and most Americans repeat this ethos ..... no matter what they speak about.
Christianity is ancient and carried through the peoples who have been of the Apostollic Line for more than 1000 years.
America is not part of that line.
