Yeah thanks so much for the enhlglish version. Your podcast is the best poker content by far, and its absolutely worth the time to watch and read the subtitles, but its so much easier to find time to listen rather than watch closely.
Super interesting and informative thank you guys. Really enjoyable to hear your insights into the high stakes players signature moves and what makes them unique
For a moment I thought this was ai content but very soon was pleasantly surprised that not only it's not but it's also top shelf content. Well done buddy
I like otbs approach of focusing on win rate instead of volume. I try to do this as well because I like to focus on timing stuff, even online, timing can give you a lot of information especially at midstakes
While there weren't major branded solvers like today, there WERE privately constructed and purchased solver programs. Kanu had one for sure, so likely all the top pros had access to solvers before people had even heard of them.
I think his signature move is the ability to knock out strong backdoors and leave weak ones in order to subsequently get nuts higher We talk about this in the video :)
16:55 leggo poker renamed ivey league and run it once. 26:30 what? data mining was against poker stars t+c after black friday and likely before. rarely enforced. I only know of sir_donaldRm getting in trouble for it. 36:57 wasn't just a 3 handed game with ivey. good old Stinger 88 was in there some too on his NoelHayes mutliaccount.
3 handed with phil ivey watching. I dont think its so bad imo. I mean obviusly a losing play but its a once in a lifetime spot where doesnt really matter imo
In the section talking about zoom crushers u didn't mention sirdonald_RM, he won at like 11bb/100 which was fucking crazy, also the guy was the teacher of highstakes player Educa-poker.
he did get banned for datamining- one of the only ones. genius released training videos with 100k+ hand samples on his hud (nice self snitching lols~~)
@@andrewdinns1746 Everyone datamined those days(and even today), simply he had a poker school and people called him out but he played on the same conditions as all other regs.
