A very good conversation. In Rapa Nui (Easter Island, Chile) the State of Chile decided to protect the native population, so you can visit the island, but you can not live in there, even you are Chilean. Rapa Nui is a World Heritage
im a little confused as to why hawaiians look more asian than polynesian. i met this girl who i thought was japanese and i called her japanese and she got really offended because she from hawaii. and other polynesian natives do not look more asian than polynesian. im reallly confused at ehy this may be
well I won't judge the way the USA settled the Hawaian islands but there in French Polynesia the "natives", the original people of these islands, is the majority. There guys ARE tahitians, they may be mixed, but for sure they are half natives. They indeed look more darker than the hawaian so called natives that I can see during my travels to Hawaii. Over there the last two generations look more asian than polynesian.
Well in fact there was a huge population of asian laborers like in Hawaii, but over there the majority of these people surely came with a wife or stay between the same ethnies. There may be a historical context that helped it. ^^
From the history that I've read on Rapanui.. it sounds like there are no natives left? The spanish took the majority of the natives for slavery to Chile.. and then bruoght them back to Rapanui after other people in Chile said they should.. but then the Rapanui slaves had contracted diseases from Chile by then and infected everyone left in Rapanui with their diseases and it wiped out practically the whole or most of the natives..
excelente!!
CHippendales can stay home! My God! Such beautiful Men!!!!!
