Salam, Ya Ali madad, and Namaste! Greetings to you and your family, Ali! I really enjoyed this vlog. I found it so lively, uplifting and entertaining. I am glad you had such a wonderful Eid. The food cooked at your family members’ homes looked so lovely and the pakore and the homemade coleslaw especially, looked fantastic. I love coleslaw myself. Do any of you cook with brown rice or sweet potato, because I suffer terribly from high blood sugar even if I have a little white rice and white potato? It would be lovely if you could show us food made from these carbohydrates with higher fibre. Your father is very smart and you walk like him too. He is exactly like my late father whom we used to drive mad by being unacceptably late most of the time. However I resolved to work on this and I believe I am quite a bit better with my timings now. I really look forward to the new Heyman food project. Best of luck with that 🙏🏼.

My mum used to make this custard topped with coconut when i was younger. It used to be the dessert at home dawats. Very old tradition because that was 30 years ago
