Yep. That's how you play the French horn. (I can tell you from wretched experience that it's not quite as easy as Mr. Vlatković makes it seem...) The Romanza from the fourth concerto was a nice encore. Fine job by the orchestra as well.

On some horns using third valve is more in tune than using 1 and 2! I use 3rd valve a lot especially when playing D, and also when slurring between notes that use 1+2 like F#, D, A because this makes it easier to go between them. Although overall its probably more to do with intonation than anything else
The orchestra was so locked in to him and the lines he created were beautiful!

ホルン奏者はゲシュトップ奏法ベルに差し入れている右手を深く入れて、開口部にかざすようにすると通常の音より半音から全音低い暗い音が出ます。（ハーフミュード）（ゲシュトップ奏法もあります）
また複数台のTVカメラ切り替えオペレーターの譜面が読めるスイッチャーのカメラ割り映像が素晴らしく感動しました。
