I'm never gonna get tired of this, Boris is my favorite band nowadays and no matter what they do, every single thing they do is just mesmerizing. I love them.
October of 2007. This was a promo stop for their San Francisco show during the band's 2007 tour. They played this ("泣きたがるスピード ", a.k.a., "The Evil One Which Sobs") as a finale in their live shows during the tour. The band members (and family) wandered the store before the show, and were very friendly. They also handed out earplugs because a lot of the people in the store weren't familiar with them. During the performance, instruments were intermittently dropping out. The Amoeba crew kept having to reset breakers to the several thousand Watts on stage. Explains the audience... (⊙_⊙)(⊙_⊙)(⊙_⊙)
idk the date of this but i was either unborn or like a year old and maaaaaaaaaaaaaan if i had a time machine this would stop one its kina like a local legend around here according to one guy this band had so many smoke machines people walking by thought the building was on fire, i also heard from some other peeps that sunn o))) played a set after them and just man
Sunn did not play, it was OM. I have some footage from the show as well as the Amoeba footage. Lookup OM - To the Shrinebuilder live @ Amoeba San Francisco - 10.14.2007

Epic is an overused word, but is entirely warranted in this case.

Ridiculously heavy but absolutely sublime.
Boris with Michio Kurihara is the heaviest band of all time
Let one note shatter darkness and light and break through to something pure.
Mind blowing performance

Far right... Michio Kurihara (栗原ミチオ) He'd been covering for Wata while she was out, and toured with the band for several years after.
