Surprised Wacom and Loupedeck didn't partner up before. It's a great combination using both their products.

I have a loupedeck. At first the idea of using program shortcuts was great, but I found myself constantly looking over and down to find the right button, and many times they are buried on another page and it's so easy to get lost and frustrated. It's just easier to learn the keyboard shortcuts imo. I do however have my loupedeck set up to control things like volume, selecting speaker or headphone output, zoom in/out of browser windows & opening certain web pages or apps. Mostly computer related task. That's really all I use it for now.

That’s a lot of money for a device that only covers around 96% of the sRGB color space. I’ll stick with my Wacom pro tablet and BenQ monitor.

The Cintiq 22 is not a touchscreen, just a large pen display (still very good of course, but I was mislead thinking the non-pro was a touchscreen as well).

I've never used a Cintiq, but I've had the Intuos Pro Medium (should have bought the small) for over a decade now. The benefit to that (other than price) is not actually having to draw on the screen, so you wouldn't have the issue you had with Premiere. I haven't used a mouse in a decade and don't miss it one bit.

Hello. I have a question how can I get photoshop 2024 or photoshop beta to work on the Loupedeck ct? I've been having problems for a long time now

My understanding is that most people doing retouching turn off most of the pressure sensitive options to have better control of brush flow (myself included). I use a 13" Huion and I don't think I'd like a 22" for retouching - that is a lot of space to cover. Something in the 16"-18" is probably the about as big as I'd want to go.
Wacom has been the standard for a long time, but I suspect the competition coming out of China is catching up.
Ergonomically I think my Razer Tartarus Gaming Keypad is superior to using a Loupedeck. I can literally rest my left hand and use macros to do many keyboard shortcuts.

I disagree with you Lee in some degree - I am not a digital artist but it is much easier and faster to edit your images with this CintiQ. On the otherhand i find such big screen like the 22 inch is too big for that. I personally use the 13 inch version - that one is bit older yet very powerful tool - especially when you need to work layer masks, dodge and burn och frequency separation :) Anywhere there you need precision the Wacom is awesome:)

Haven't heard anything good about any lupedeck in regards to quality control, and it seems to be extremely buggy (on windows at least)
As far as Wacom I've had 2 and they're the best in the biz. I wish they made a surface style tablet.

Loupedeck nice to look at but probably will slow down your productivity. Much better to learn keyboard shortcuts and keep both hands on input devices instead of trying to manage multiple devices with one hand.

This is cool but I feel might be too much for me. The iPad Pro gives just enough of what I need with the touch screen, pen pressures and it’s portable. Interesting review though

Had Intuos Pro years ago, never liked it, still find a good mouse like a razer way better for photoshop.

This look way overcomplicated, clumsy and expensive, at least for photography work. Just lean keyboards shortcuts. Also, instead of expend some carzy money on a loupedeck, try first a cheap MIDI controller with Midi2lr plugin for Ligthroom, it is free and super customizable

Hdmi? Power, and usb? Sticking out from the TOP of the monitor. I’m sorry but that’s sooooooo 2009. It’s just sad.

It should be one USB C cable

    • @batsonelectronics
      @batsonelectronics 2 роки тому

@@Samtagri many Windows machines don't have USB-C and HDMI takes less overhead for a video out only scenario. It would not matter on a Mac but would on a Windows machine.

If you work with PS or any software doing heavy retouching or digital art (photo, illustration, 3D)... you will see the big advantage of using a Cintiq. Once you do there's no turning back.

Agreed. I have an iPad Pro with Apple Pencil 2, acting as 2nd screen to my MacBook Pro, with full pencil capabilities.

What’s the point of buying ugly bulky monitor if I can get iPad Pro, which will more even better. This looks horrible 😂
