    I have the same feeling with this as I did/do with Elgato's streamdeck. It has a lot of helpful tools, a good interface and it really does seem like something that once it's part of your workflow and muscle-memory, it will speed up and ease up your workflow immensely. But at €499,- it's just not worth it over the keyboard you already have or getting something a bit more diy like repurposing an external numpad as a macropad. If it were priced around €299 it would still be expensive, but the benefits would weigh up to the price more. Especially for online creators and artists who work from home instead of a massive studio/design space, which this seems to be marketed towards. This is a great review though, it's nice to see someone actually use more examples and also point out the bugs that are still in place. Thanks Unmesh!

    My friend made me a micro controller using arduino, 12 buttons and 4 continuous turn, that i can map it easily. It also can be use for midi or drum pad controller too. If I’m not mistaken it cost me around $50 for him to make and 2 double cheese burger meal sets when he handed over to me.
    I found this micro controller is useful for me only when I need to use tablet pen because I’m left handed. Not shortcut friendly. Other than that, I pretty much memorise most of the shortcuts and using mouse on the right hand.

    I finally pulled the trigger on a mechanical keyboard for working. I realized I spent a good portion of my day pushing buttons, so it seemed sensible that I made that repetitious action more pleasurable. It was worth it. Now I don't need to push as hard, what with the tactile, audible feedback of the blue switches.
    All that to say, if you work on a computer, you deserve finger pleasure.

    The glitch with brush roundness and brush angle is very real and an issue with Loupedeck and Adobe as it may actually be an Adobe Photoshop issue as it seems their brush reset causes the brush pre-sets to get wiped back to first brush you have loaded into photoshop. There are bugs in the Loupedeck and or Adobe Photoshop software that unfortunately means that the Loupdeck CT can't operate to its full potential yet even when you've use custom commands etc. I'm hoping it will get there over the comming months?

    Instead of using this, can we use a voice activated software like instead of clicking crop or enter you simply say enter or crop? Wouldn't that be simpler? By the way, there is a screen in the device but we do not actually look at the keyboard. It is not that efficient. May be without looking at the device using slider etc.. that would be efficient...

    @ivo_huth 3 роки тому

    I tried this device out but returned it to the shop. It certainly has potential, but isn’t quite up to the job yet. First of all I found the large touch screen too sensitive. If you touch the sides of the touch screen you also activate a function. Resting your fingers in between the LoupeDeck logo and the screen made me make errors. Also the turning knobs on the right side can not be controlled with your left hand unless you position your hand in an awkward position as you keep on touching the round touch screen. And you need to turn a knob too much to go from -100% to +100%. It should be logarithmic depending on the speed you turn the knob, fast turn = large increments and slow turn = smaller steps. Also some programs like Affinity or Capture One are only supported by keyboard commands, not an API. I did like the overall feel of the device, the knobs click when turned and the buttons have a nice mechanical feedback.

      @@n0f4ke74 that has little to do with it. Twisting a bunch of knobs, and moving your hands around that much is worse than just using the keyboard. There are plenty of ergonomic USB controllers, and devices out there that have a million buttons, and don't involve crazy movement. My only complaint is that many of these devices are made for right handed people when not everyone is right handed (such as myself).

      You can but it is not as fast as in Ps for no reason I can think of it is very staccato in the way it delivers the result of the change - sometimes fast sometimes slow
