How did you handle any power outlets behind the panels?
It was such a nice addition. And I just left the outlets blocked and ran an extension cord from the other side of the room. Didn’t have the proper tools to cut the hole sufficiently unfortunately 🤦🏻♂️
Not even with a jigsaw was he able to cut the wood well.
How do these TCL and Hisense TVs hold up??
@2:34 thse stuff has nothing to do with acoustic treatment. Its 1,6 cm of Material with an hard surface front - this has nothing to do with treatment.. That people spend so much money on them and think they improve the acoustic. They costs 41€/m2. Way cheaper to build some 20cm Frames of wood, fill them with isover acoustic or rockwool and put a nice fabric arround it wich realy helps.

Just hit the hardware and fabric store for some 1 by’s and the fabric store for some sheets of felt. Has the exact same effect as the more expensive option and is the same amount of work.
Trick is, use masking tape over the area you are cutting

Maybe 20ft x 16ft, somewhere around there.
Woof, the yellow subtitles are hard to make out.
The next time you have to cut, use painters tape. It helps prevent the rough edges.

Painters tape + preferably having the visible side on the bottom helps alot since the teeth make a pulling motion :)
