I would say the heavyweight springs played a role in breaking your end cap. I like your shock setup, but i think the shock ends need some beefing up to handle the increased load on them.
I’m sure those springs do add a bit of extra pressure. If I was popping those rod ends all the time I would definitely revert back though. This is the first shock rod end break I’ve had in a long time. No… The beast springs on the other hand. I will definitely be curious if those things scream signs of issue toward those rod ends. Will find out.

Ok I’ve been wanting to get in on these challenges Is there a certain type of rig that needs to be used? It’s my bday month as of yet I’m a little upset 😢 to be honest I’m pretty messed up about. Wanted the outcast 6s and now I find out it’s discontinued 😭 oh well any suggestions on a good 1:8 scale? I’m all ears 👂 thanks
Most editing software will allow you to convert any video from horizontal format to standard format pretty quickly. Heck, if you have an iPhone simply play the video on your iPhone while holding it horizontally. And start screen record. It will create a video in standard format. Upload that. I don’t care if there are bars on the sides. It just needs to be uploaded so that it can land in the playlist.

@@Logan_gamble Unfortunately, each individual has to upload separate video on their own channel. It’s fine if it’s from their own perspective. However, it’s the actual entry itself that counts as your submission or placeholder in the drawing.
My two cents brother, gonna be hard for your to get the shocks to rebound slowly no matter the shock fluid weight IF your springs are that strong. If you want stiffer springs I like the blue HoBao springs in the rear and rear Kraton springs in the front with 90wt ZRS Bladderless setup is fantastic. Heavy springs also kill handling. But I love that your trying new things... If your living the performance then stick with it. But I'd think the ZRS Bladderless won't perform as intended with string springs because rebound is meant to be slower because of the pistons as you know, but strong springs will push past any advantages and in a sense hide them. My two cents I do miss having the "Judges decide" idea you used a few years back to reward the best trick as a reward and maybe a random smaller secondary prize. But you do you
Ya... the BEAST springs would way surpass everything, so your two cents are spot on. I will say though, that I have tamed and found the sweet spot for when it comes to the 1631 springs and 5k diff fluid. And I did run them with and without the M2C emultion caps. The M2C caps made a noticeable differance, so I do recomend using them if you run the 1631 springs. Regarding changing the East Tactics jump competition to a series of challenges intead of competing. I hear ya. And thinking about it, I still am glad I switched it... alot of the issues and frustrations came from it being a competition that are now gone. Things behind the scenes that most would never know about. Now its simply a fun challenge series you can get involved in and have an Equal chance as everyone to win some awesome goodies. Who knows tho..next year I may change it back to a compititon agian. we'll see. Thanks for commenting. Its really good to hear from ya bro!

The beast springs are crazy. However, the 1631 Springs are definitely more than slightly heavier than stock. They’re 9 pounds springs compared to stock 6 pound springs. Yet… And this is the point I’m trying to make clear, despite that, the M2C shock caps still make a noticeable difference while running them. The tactic in the pistons and O-ring interacting with the 5K diff fluid has an impact on slowing down rebound compared to stock bladder caps.

Hey Brother, I’ve had a few people reach out to me behind-the-scenes confused why they’re seeing two entries from the same channel in the playlist I’m realizing that I may have misspoke and slightly misunderstood your request about adding multiple entries in on one channel for your household and kiddos. I went ahead and pulled down Ethan’s video so that there’s only one video from blue beast RC. I Also have not noticed (it was pointed out to me)that in both videos you used the same rig and the same tree which you could imagine raised a few flags with some people. I understand their concern, the way it supposed to work is a single entry is allowed per channel if your children had their own UA-cam channel and also things were pretty clear that the channel wasn’t solely created to exploit multiple entries. (And again, I definitely am not saying you exploiting anything. You came to me and I accidentally misled you). Then I would for sure allow your children who I would presume even purchased their own RC rigs (a separate vehicle) to get their foot in the door for a chance to win the prize on there own Channels. However, in this case, both rigs were the same rig. You have helped me to be a little bit more clear in the future. If somebody asked the same question I will make sure that they know that it is only one UA-cam video per channel. Long story short I apologize for the confusion, that I allowed. I didn’t realize I would get multiple people reaching out to me upset. Many people take the summer competitions pretty seriously as things ramp up toward the big prize from a $500 beefcake kit from M2C. I am extremely grateful for you following my channel and participating. And even getting your kids involved. I think it’s awesome. I hope you understand. No… That all said, if your children, particularly your older one. Saved up his own money, purchased his ownrig. I am more than happy to see him create a quick UA-cam channel and submit a video. It would be nice if these jumps weren't so detailed dependant. 3 months in a row, the details have immediately excluded me from participating. Not everybody wants to film their private town and house. Not everybody has access to amazing hills. Not everybody has access to trees of that size.
