France Joli is a Canadian singer best known for the disco classic "Come to Me." The Montreal-native began singing at the age of 4 and began to sing in talent shows and commercials by the age of 11. She experienced commercial success with several albums in the late 1970s and early 1980s.
This is an All time Classic..💯🔥😁😎
✌🏽🥂🥳✌🏽🥂🥳✌🏽🥂🥳
❤❤❤
this song is ahead of its time.
❤❤❤
A Masterpiece!
So Beautiful
I never get tired of listening to this song.🎶🎼
Glad you like it!
@@francejoli9224 such a powerful love spell. You were calling your love to you and reassuring them💕💕💕
One of my favorites they used to play this on the radio in 1979👍
I had this album. I played it sooo much. I knew every word in the lyrics , the arrangement, the solos, the bass line - I absorbed it. I never did like it when the male vocal came in with his line ( I guess it just disagreed with me, hahahaha) I love the key changes, the horn lines and THE WHISTLE. For those who never went to Discos, there was a fad where the whistle hanging around your neck was a cool look. You blew it on the dancefloor when you were getting down. Smiles with memories that I wouldn't trade for the world.
I love this song. Brings me back when I was a teenager.
❤️🕺💃
Me too. Great memories.
Well said Ms. Posada, good groovy song.
me too
Back in 1979 in East L. A.
I saw her last night Sat the Disco Ball concert in Hollywood Florida. She sounds amazing! Her voice has not changed at all. I love her songs.
France Joli has a beautiful voice. Love this song. Never gets old.
When I hear the intro, my heart races. And then when the lyrics start - I reflect back to those days, instantly! This song gives me a good feeling....ya know what I mean? ♥♫♪ ♪ ♫
Great voice nice oldie
❤❤
This is the music that you really can dance to
Always and forever ❤
This song is so beautiful it makes me so happy and full of joy when I listen to it. I was a kid when I first listened it
This music is so important to me. Gives me peace and an incredible sensation of eternal joy. Memories are forever! Thank you, France Joli, for this immense pleasure!
Beautiful 🏵️❣️
I remember when I was a child for some reason I thought this was Donna Summer and they really didn't sound alike. I think I may have been swayed by the songs lyrics and instrumental sounds like Donna's arrangements.

She was 15 y/o when she sang this. God bless her!!!
Really? Wow.....I did not know that. No wonder the original album had a "special thanks to Papa Joli" in the liner notes on the back for giving permission for his daughter to sing/perform it.
Love this song! Our generation had the best music! Still listening 2022! ❤️
STILL 👂🏽👂🏽 2023 🤹🏽♀🪄🙌🏽
Absolutely ❤️❤️

Best female singer ever!
I forgot one thing,,I had to bow to her,and kiss her hand, forever Greatfull ❤❤❤
1979. Big hit back then. Great memories for me in high school and graduation. We had the best music back then. Love this classic.
Chile you youngins better get in on this music. Honey these women had that bounce back then honey. Under them disco lights.
Canadian chanteuse extraordinaire France Joli (b. 1963) sounds as phenomenal as she did when this gem was released in the autumn of 1979. She was only 15 when Come to Me was recorded. Wow.
Memories are forever! What an incredible time in my life! This music made my 1979 so special....Even today in 2020 I enjoy each minute of this music!
Luciana Pimenta, This song also made my1979. Special also that was the year my daughter was born.

not erased from memory, France Joli travels the Country and performs she is not 15 any longer
Find her in UA-cam singing the same song now in 2020
I agree
She still performs around the country. Benefits and stuff.
Erased? you havent looked much have you?
This is what you call music! Best of the years 70’s 80’s !!
Indeed! Epic! ❤️
I agree.
Nah 70’s and 90’s 80’s don’t make the cut
@@sebastianbomb2156 Only garbage today dude
The best!! Dating, Dancing, The best of Times!!😂❤
Nothing like the late 70s and 80s great times
So right!! Each note seems to have a memory or a scene in my mind.
Its beautiful remember this music...thanks for everyone for the oportunity un this moment...!!!!
Nothing but Peace, Love and Happiness everyone!
France, in the disco era, I was a DJ, and when I layed your record, I told the public that you was my girlfriend. Love you babe. Thru your art you gave us happiness, hope and love. My GOD bless, always.
This era needs to come back around. I know history repeats itself in weather and fashion. The crap they play today... I can’t stand it. It all sounds the same, and is more of a tits and crotch show from the same artists. I’m as well have been a DJ since I was 12. At 47, I’d still rather play disco and soul.🤘
WE LOVE YOU MUCH
France, you and this song mean more to me than I can ever express . . . ! It always picked me up when I was down, and I felt like you were singing it for me. Love, Frank Chance
same to you my beautiful disco queen !!!
❤ a club favorite great singer awesome great vocal range

I'm embarrassed and ashamed to say I've only just discovered this absolutely amazing song in 21. I can only apologize and play it to death!
Just a beautiful disco song! MITCH THOMAS 5 8 2022

Thank you!
She convinced me. I'm coming to you baby!!
Memories love her music
I am a so called metal head but I loved this song. And its very donna summerish. Peace out.
I love this song bring me back the old day
When music was music!!!
She was 15 when she recorded this. ♪ ♪ I bought the album in 1979 and played the whole thing almost every day for the first couple months I had it. ☼ Back in the day when Disco was booming, night clubs had waiting lines to get in, we danced til 3 or 4 am, women and men got dressed up to the 9's, even the ugly DJ picked up girls after the gig at the end of the night.... and I discovered designer fragrance, expensive blue jeans (that you could not wear into most discothecques) & pretty girls didn't have to pay for their own drinks. Danskin was the perfect twirling skirt when my dance partner would spin me around in my platform shoes and a feather clipped in my frizzy hair. I wouldn't trade the memories for the world.
Thanks for the info. Didn't know she was only 15 at the time. Designer Jeans, Jordache, Sergio Valente and Calvin Kleins. Yeah, the good ole days. By the way, I have this on vinyl.
Yogi T Yes..good old days and don’t forget Candies shoes :)) dance the night away..
Astonishing to think that she was only fifteen sixteen years old when she sang that song I must say anatomically she appears much older but that's neither here or there she truly was an incredible singer and still is
I'm am forever grateful I lived in this era.
@@BerodinWax it truly was a wonderful time by all means God bless the eighties you have a great evening
Classic Material....still bumping in 2021 ❤
Listening in 2019❤️✨💃🏻🕺🏻because music is terrible now
Is your maiden name Roemer by any chance, because there is a Sherry Lynn Roemer out there who saved my miserable life, don't know if I should thank her or not.
She was born about 1960 and her father worked for the CPR Railways in Saskatchewan, Canada and elsewhere I guess. Thanks I will contact the CPR. :-)
There no music out there that could bet Disco !!!
Big Louie !
Bang on Sherrie. 1970 s the best for music
My wife and I won a dance contest at Misquamicut Beach one evening with this beat. It moves those bones 40 years later. What an Era. She was fabulous.
Hey that's awesome man. The days of dancing.
Misquamicut? Wow. I am from Miami and now live in Ct. I saw her Live. Great dancing groove with my partner.
UHHKAY!!!
Yes she is. She still has all her moves just a little slower. It's A GREAT SONG. I danced to it myself at the clubs.❤😂❤
Last song of 54 movie ❤🎉❤🎉❤🎉
Ooo yeah. Sounds perfectly for a past night time with somebody else listening to it while walking for hours throught the empty streets. Just talking and feeling the night vibe like if nobody else would break the moment.
WHAT A DELICIOUS SONG!!!
Glad you like it!
TOP, I like the music. Love
I acquired this record at a Salvation Army thrift store in Anaheim, CA in 1993. Released in April 1979.
Joli came out of retirement in 1992 when disco music was making a comeback. This is the one song I can easily recognise from her. She used to be a brunette; she's now a blonde.
She can thank Australian singer/actress Kylie Minogue for reviving her career, thanks to "Step Back In Time".
Recuerdos.....no me canso de escucharla cuando visito UA-cam. 🌹❤❤😍🤩🤗😊
Reminds me of dancing to disco all night long in New York....Roseland...Studio 54.....etc. Long hair with glitter, flowing silk skirt, high heels, and shiny red lipstick. Ahhh such great memories!!!
I only wish
You’re so lucky to have been in that era at Studio 54! So cool!!!
I will always remember the great times I had at Epaneema night club dancing till 4a.m. to this music!! Good Times!!!! 👍👍
I went to Roseland. It was the best years. I had so much fun. Music was great.

The 70s and 80s were the eras of real singing. That was when singers had lungs. The sound came from the belly.
Tempo maravilhoso, que nos fazia sonhar, viver e nos sentirmos felizes...
A discomusic foi o melhor tempo da minha vida...de 1977 a 1981 fantasticos anos!!!!
I didn't want it to end.

What I would not give to go back and relive the Disco Era WITH MY YOUTH INTACT - my real Salad Days. Now, I'm going on 78 with the most incredible memories a man could want...
I was just thinking about back then, all the restaurants had a salad bar! Everywhere we went, there was a cafeteria/smorgasboard/salad well, etc, , , , We ate healthy, drank at night, danced til daybreak and still kept our 8-5 job.
Thank you for sharing ❤️❤️
I have beautiful memories of dancing to "Come To Me" by France Joli and "Don't Let Me Be Misunderstood" by Santa Esmeralda. Makes me happy to be alive.
When "I'm a lonely man" comes on, the song goes from very good into greatness!
#JUSTSTATINGFACT
oh my god i love this tune,im 63 and still love that era.2020
I love it too. I am 67. Almost 68. Great album.
I remember DJs playing "Come To Me" by France Joli and "Don't Let Me Be Misunderstood" by Santa Esmeralda! It seems the music inspired people to dance. I know I was.
Talk about throwback to a way better time. Being a teen had its ups and downs, but was a pretty good time.
This song brings back lots of memories 🥰🥰🥰🥰
Enjoy ❤️
Oh, this song sure does! Playing this album, practicing dancing, singing along to the record, etc. . . . It was a longgggggggggg song on the LP.
I was just listening to "Don't Let Me Be Misunderstood" by Santa Esmeralda and I remembered "Come To Me" by France Joli. Those memories of being out dancing are magical.

Just watched 54! Tons of memories with this song!
Yes! What classic song even today. I love her voice and she was just 16 when she recorded this song. I was 12 and loved it then and now!! Thank you, France Joli, for such a classic song!! 2024 is in the house!!!
One of greatest things that came out of the Disco era is that young people changed the industry with their buying power. Wasn't just adults buying records but the teenagers starting getting younger and younger and that was a lot of influence.
BTW, I'm straight and kind of jealous of the Pride community for claiming and owning Disco. LOL
This is the kind of song that can make you fall in love with yourself even if no one else does
✌🏽🤣✌🏽
Lol
I'm going to be honest, I didn't know of Frances Joli until like around the time that Donna Sumner passed, I believe that was 2013, she was a teenager like 17 when she was singing this song back in 1979, she is Canadian so that is why I didn't know of her, she can sing, I listen to her songs right now today, Come to Me Miss Frances Joli❤ ❤❤
This is a very touching unforgettable love song by France joli it made her hot for awhile I loved this song from the first time I heard it me & my ex girlfriend at the time were in love she danced to this song with my best friend he was a great dancer watching them two was such a special moment everybody at the party was all watching them it captured me like nothing else I couldn't take my eyes off her if this would have been a contest those two would have won hands down it was the greatest disco dancing I ever saw they were so graceful & beautiful to watch and I knew I would never see such great dancing like this ever again when they finished everybody at the party. clapped whistled & cheered them on for 5 minutes it was unbelievable then she came to me and she gave me a big hug and a gentle kiss and she thanked me for allowing her to dance in my heart there are no words to what I witnessed and never forgot every time I hear this song it always takes me back to that unforgettable night God Bless You France Joli 👍😀

She was my teenager crush 😍! But she never came to me 😪😔. I always love her and the music she sang. Ps. Love you 😍 💗 💓 💛 ♥ 😘. France 🇫🇷 joui...
I saw her performed in a club in New Jersey, it was called "Brother's Three" and she had a really, really long hair and she looked so beautiful, I had a crush on her back in those days, we were so young. I sometimes get very nostalgic of those wonderful nights that we thought they would last forever, I miss those wonderful moments of our lives!
