  • Attack In Broad Daylight It Came Right At Me
    This morning I had a giant wild boar attacking my fence and trying to get our pet pigs, when I confronted it, it charged right at me. This was a crazy experience to say the least. I made a good hit on it, lets see if we can find it now.

    Brandy you need to be protecting yourself!! Because you don’t want a wild hog to charge you! I’m so glad Sean was able to get it this time and that you found it. God bless! You should get a cage like Daniel Arms has I’m sure you could get it setup on your property and get all the wild hogs dealt with at once! That way you can have your family and livestock protected! God bless. 🥰❤️🇨🇦🙏🏻

      You cannot get them dealt with at once, Oklahoma is overrun with these feral hogs. You get as many as you can though! You can build a trap out of cattle panels and t-posts. Residents can also get permission to night hunt for them which is great.

      Was it missing BOTH Ears, or just the one?
      In Oz they often cut off one ear at the same time they castrate 'em so they are easier to spot which are still edible after they've grown.

No way was I coming down I didn't know if it had gone or was still around. Scary so yeah they will chase a human no way they could put run it. I so hope they can do something about them. I think he should of buried I instead of leaving I for other animals to eat. It will draw in unwanted animals. No way would eat it. Tick infestation. I thought I was gonna be sick seeing that. A pig will take one look at a person and be out of there. "Packing" firearms? They are not a toy. And the temptation to have a ping at a pig is a definite possibility, and in the unlikely event of it being hit the chances of wounding with a pistol are high. At which stage some pigs will want to retaliate, and if they do go over onto the offensive, than they can become nasty.

    Sean, here in Florida wild hogs are everywhere. My dad had a "hog claim". The big paper companies auctioned off the " claim". It gave us the exclusive rights to catch hogs live, with hog dogs, or shoot in season. We fattened, neutered and gave them any meds needed. They tame up but those boars are dangerous. We used to take the big boat heads, stake it on a fire ant mound. Come back in a month & collect cleaned skulls. The boars loose all Thier fight ( & taste) after they are cut. They carry brucellosis as a general rule. Don't handle raw meat with bare hands.

    I just saw your video and loved it and I’m watching all of them now I love that you and your family are enjoying the homesteading life and so happy people are getting back it . Things were different than today we did not have power or water or bathrooms but we had a lot of love and support and family . I’m very proud of anyone that will take to homesteading for their families cause things are getting harder than ever now so keep doing what you’re family and you are doing and I wish all of you the best. God bless you and your family I love your land you guys made the right choice buying it that’s what I would’ve done. I loss my husband in 2007 and now I’m living with my oldest granddaughter and her family in Louisiana and we are looking for land now cause she’s wanting me to help them with the homestead lifestyle . My prayers that god gives me many more years to be there for them, Only god knows, Things are looking good 👍 Be safe and watch for people coming in and out and keeping cameras everywhere it is so sad that we can’t trust people anymore they just want to hurt you to get what they want. One of my daughters had their appointment broken in to and she was only gone for 20min. So we knew right then that she was being watched and they toot everything that was personal like guns, jewelry, and a lot of other things. The police said they think it’s a inside job and they are trying to find them. But they did find the kids that had taken her new Jeep and they are in jail now. I’m glad you are always watching, Be safe and god bless you and your family. 👍👍👍👍👍❤️

    Daniel from Arms family homestead knows a guy who will setup a trap to catch the pigs . He'll come pick them up haul them off to this property where people play to come and hunt them . Daniel had a lot of them taken off his home property also the cabin property . He even set it up at Jimmy Huston property to help protect his animals . It's just a thought you it whelp protect your animals and your family .

    Hoping you guys know that wild hogs can grow to over 1000 pounds. My buddies used to raise them back in the early 80's for private hunts. Something like the size of a VW Beetle. Be careful and very aware, friends.

      @wesleymagill4993 Рік тому +4

      your buddy lied to you. he might have raised big pigs for hunts (seems like a lot of effort) but he didn't grow 1k# pigs. domestic pigs stack on weight better than feral hogs and the most pampered domestics dont get to 1K#. i've seen 1 (marshmallow was his name) that pushed the 1k envelope and he wasn't truly mobile.

      Yeah not wild hogs, a few hundred pounds at the most. The high end of average weight for a hog you'll find in the wild is about 200-250 pounds.

      @@wesleymagill4993 No more than them being seriously dangerous, more likley to be attacked by deer, unless a pig is cornered or wounded, or defending it's young, when they can get aggressive. There is something about pigs that causes pathetic exaggeration & lies, any videos of wild pigs shows them running away unless cornered etc..
