When choosing your major and college, consider the following factors: (1) Is it a prioritized occupation announced by IRCC in 2023, qualified for category-based Express Entry draws? (2) Is your occupation in-demand in India in case you have to return home? (3) Does the province offer PNP for your occupation or your degree (such as Master graduate stream)? (4) Are there many jobs in the province for your occupation? (5) Do you need licensing or certification after graduation for work? (6) Is your occupation eligible for TN-1 visa under USMCA agreement (for Canadians to work as temporary worker in USA)? (6) Are you studying in your strength?
