I'm a 50 year old man from USA - A musician who gave, up long ago... What I see here, and in other videos from this show, at this time, is an almost 3 octave range with NO visible struggle. This is so natural for Cody Frost. She has so, so much more talent than I ever had.. than most hit singers have. I pray she never gives up. She deserves the life I always dreamed of. Beautiful, talented, different and so talented. Good luck, young Cody. I hope to see your debut, in my lifetime...

Actually, this performance was fucking amazing and I know it doesn't seem like this the first time round but watch it 5 more times and you will eventually hear how beautifully her voice hits the chorus, when she sings 'Ordinary World' and her voice kind of clashes with the music it just sounds beautiful. Seems to me that the Boy DOES know what he's doing. Top coach xxx

Mad World is my favorite thus far. I don't watch TV but somehow ran into her performance in several video, she is truly brilliant.

I think that this performance by Cody was phenomenal and outstanding. And her outfit was one of her best on the whole show.
I have gone back and watched many of the performances over and over again and I keep coming back to something about you Cody... YOU are so darn cute and there is "truth" to you that I think many people can relate. I also want to commend you on growth. I know it's been 3 years I've always seen your comment but, not only does the industry seek for someone unique, talented but also, someone professional. This isn't the first time someone would have her sing a song she does not prefer but if she's truly truly deserving to be in the industry, she should be able to learn to pour her heart into the songs veterans advise her to sing. I'm up for freedom and everything I'm just saying it's what happens to every job there is. Her performance here though is excellent still
I feel like George has made quite a few artists sing songs they weren't feeling or knew weren't for them. No offense but yeah listen to what the artist says in return to the thought & reason with what they have to say. I love Cody's voice regardless it is infectious.
@@yasmeleon Great response!!! You wouldn't hear a country guy singing some metal song they hated or rap. Being told how to be, think, act, do, doesn't work for art. You simply cant control it. I paint & wouldnt paint something I wasn't into or didnt feel, it wouldnt be 'me'. If the idea is to be original? I hate conformity & control.
Cody's was a favourite from the blinds but hasn't really performed this time or last time, shows how much the favourite is based on first impressions.

Cody has so much to live up to from all her last performances, so she was bound to be weaker at some point. As George pointed out, it was a bit messy, but strip it back to her vocals you can still hear the gorgeous rawness of it, despite how she seemed a little shaken. She is my winner for sure; so refreshing and unique and something that could totally work in music right now. Can't wait to see what she does in the future, alongside many other of the artists from this series.

Cody has an amazing voice i enjoyed listening to her in parts tonight but i didn't think the song suited her stunning voice

+Daniel Norvind I´ve been singing that song and it´s a hard song to make positive. It´s a hard song to sing and I think Cody enjoy it but because of the theme and the lyric she stayed in the emotion of the song and not to smile, because that´s not what the song is about :).

Sometimes I can understand an artist at times not wanting or believing in the song, movie, TV show, etc., Like a lot of her songs she has a way to let me feel it. this songs words, tempo, has a sadness. If this is her "not feeling" it, I felt it. Those who see that she is not enjoying the song you can be right. But she did a song her mentor asked, I believe she pulled it off. Wondering how it might sound if sung differently or by someone else? For now I love to listen to this song over again.
