I come back and watch this often. her voice is so gritty and conveys emotion in a visceral way when you hear it, it really amplifies what ever she sings. it makes me sad that she didn't end up a huge success.
Only way to make them a huge success is to listen and support. And all of their music that they have released in the past few years is absolutely incredible, and they have a strong fan base that is growing every day.

I have watched thousands upon thousands of these talent show videos, but I have to 100% honest with the world, in my opinion THAT WAS THE BEST PERFORMANCE OF THEM ALL. It had everything that song can throw at you, and that is a lot to be sure. That was spot on, including the little trills that Stevie dumps in. I have had the pleasure of watching Stevie Nicks perform from way back in the Oakland Colosseum " On the Green Series" through to her resurgence, and you Cody, ripped it. Unreal. Bravo indeed.

Cody reached the finals but did not win. Strange. Listening to the performances on this video shows that the show was absolutely fixed. A contestant bypassed if there ever was one. So so sad.
Maybe it was done so that she could end up having a free career without the bollox associated with the show. I know for the first year she has to perform with the cast I guess, but she can develop her sound and make her own way without the interference of this show. I think we're going hear from her again under the tutelage of George...no doubt.

In my opinion, I think there’s no ‘alternative’ or non-mainstream looking or sounding winner in the voice as yet. Even the show’s version here in the Philippines seem (obviously) fixed.

To be able to carry off songs by other artists shows the true talent of someone. This girl as young as she is, is so up there vocally. That is it unbelieveable how she did not win this series.Honestly. Was this show fixed. I wonder. Check the viewing figures for each section and the ones who did not get to go forward to the next section on the video views.And you will see what actually happened. And why the show resulted the way it did. The judges eliminated folk very cleverly and they did not go forward. Folk were concentrating on supporting certain people and some contestants were getting overlooked. Then they got to go forward in the knowledge that the viewing figures for them would not catch up. This happened. And that is why the result was what it was. I may be wrong. But check.
