    6:17 witness lines?
    I like the idea of doing different directions for different grits. I've got to the end of trying to get a mirror finish more than once and finding scratches at that point meaning back to square one!

      Very well could be. I was just trying to think of what we called it at the shop and it was something akin to artifacting or aliasing. However, the point comes across no matter the term fortunately😆

    I'm a bit late, hope you'll see this comment
    Should i make paint flat (citrus peel) before applying clear coat, or do i do that only after clear coat?

      You don't need to get everything perfectly flat before final clears. Of course, with every scuff sanding between layers you want to get closer and closer to flat, but actual flat sanding happens once final clears are on and from there the polishing starts :)
