Fiber arts center - class - hotel - mini sewing trip

- Hello everyone ♥️
This is a sewing trip where we learned about stump work/ plush work/star embroidery. It originated in Germany in the 1800’s. The background is usually corduroy or wool. Natural fibers like wool yarn is used to create the stars, hearts, flowers, horse shoes and more.
Our class took place at the historic, Fiber Arts Center, in the arts district of Denton Maryland
The kitty is just a freindly little visitor. Everywhere I go, some sort of animal finds me lol ♥️
