Honestly, I've been banging on about imminence for the last few years. It's absolutely wonderful that they are finally getting the recognition for their work. I'm frustrated that its taking so long because I've been dying to see them for years but they haven't played here in Scotland in that time at all. They had a date in London I think but that isn't an option for going to see a band for me these days. I'm not a youngster anymore and can't face fighting another high af homeless dude for my own shoes in the railway station entrance again. So they need to get over here to Glasgow asap!
"Heaven in hiding" and "Turn the light on" are just... idk man! but I love em so much bro, you should react to those albums. btw new suscriber here, liked your content. cheers from Venezuela💛💙♥
For me, I'd rank them like this: 1. Heaven Shall Burn 2. Desolation 3. Come Hell or High Water I prefer the heavier side of the band. I love every single song of imminence. They are the only band I actually get excited when they release a new song. I probably listen to each song like 20 times on release because I don't want them to end. That said, I think Come Hell or High Water is great and I don't want to give a bad impression because I really like the song but I also find it a bit repetitive compared to the other two and probably why it's my least favorite of the three singles.
Never been to really get into them, but I do like how they're just leaning into classic metalcore and death metal (instead of generic modern metalcore + violins) with their unique sound on top. The symphonic elements just sound way better with the fast-paced classic metalcore.
Next you have to check out THE BAND Heaven Shall Burn. "Deaf To Our Prayers" and "Veto" are my favourite albums of theirs, but I find the former a flawless beast!
To me this is the best track out of the three! Although I adore the explosive ending part of "Come Hell or high water" it feels like "Heaven Shall Burn" had several continuous explosions, so hard hitting in its emotional atmosphere. Not as much melodic choruses, which was great, actually. And yes, much Architects - so good!!
You can say that any album is "boring and repetitive". For example: according to you, 'Turn the light on' is boring and repetitive, and for me your opinion is perfectly acceptable. On the other hand, for me The Dali Thundering Concept - 'ALL MIGHTY MEN', which according to you is a creative album, is, another repetitive, boring and uninspired album in the style of: "add a synth to some metalcore and there you go". Why can't we all stop using our subjective opinions as objective criticism?
I will agree with you that this single is the weakest of the three, wasn't really paying attention to the song until the violin came in. I do enjoy how more prominent that violin is, but I just sometimes wish they were more of it. I want more of it.
I mean... it's okay, but Septicflesh just puts them to shame, and it's not high-pitched screechy vocals, unlike Imminence. Plus, one of the brothers in the band literally has his own Orchestra that they record some of their songs with. Not just violins, an entire orchestra.
3 singles deep - what’s your favourite track so far? 🎻
I honestly don’t have an opinion. All three is amazing🤘🏻
My favourite is still Desolation, but this track fkn slaps 🤘
they all actually feel like one continuous song
This one hits me the hardest. Perfection!
All 3😅
This is exactly the sound I wanted from Architects before they went for a more rock angle. Thank you to Imminence for filling the void.
Yes!!! exactly what i thought, plus the chorus on this song with their overall orchestral theme sounds like its straight from holy hell

My god the end of that track is so fricking nasty. I love it

This track appeared randomly on a Spotify playlist and was my first-ever exposure to this band. Needless to say, I am forever changed.
Heaven Shall burn > desolation > come hell or high water yet. If i'm right they will drop at least 3 more singles, based on the keys

What are u talking about? Repetitive? How do Paralyzed and Temptation sound the same?
Who said those two sounded the same? I didn’t 😂😂
Their ‘Turn the light on’ album is boring and repetitive for the most part

@kaitlynnem5301 it's okay you lil midlent, we're allowed to be wrong sometimes 😉♥️
It feels like they just repurpose the same song over and over. And it never sounds bad but I never come back to them

Pretty different sounding stuff tbh, but pretty cool he has his own orchestra
Drew needs midlex to get a better taste in music. Mid reactor at best smh 😒
@alexanderschildknecht2090 true that. Guess he's too mid to comeback.
