Just wow on this one! Really nice and perfectly liveable for a very good price. The house really doesn't need a thing and has just enough land. The exterior looks fantastic too. Joao did a great job. Very personable, knowledgeable and easy to watch. A great addition to the Destino Portugal Team. This property has so many possibilities. Seriously try to find something this nice for this price these days.

We really appreciate you keeping an eye on it for us until we move and helping out with things that need doing. 5 minutes in I was thrown a 15 minute ad followed by an 8.5 minute add. 😂 I paired up my clean socks and other tasks but I ducked out of the second after a minute forty five. 🎉

Well rehabilitated, loved, and adorably decorated "cottage".
I think i'd keep the back bedroom and lounge for myself and create a dining and/or lounge area of 2 rooms across from the kitchen. The tiny but complete kitchen suits me fine, one just has to turn to reach what one needs. And the size of the land offers plenty of room for veg and egg production without being an impossible size to easily tend.
There's so much good space downstairs, i could have summer/AirBnB accommodation and still have plenty of space for storage and workshop(s).
João is a cutie pie and very sunny. He picked up English very well by watching his favorite British tv series 😄 and i could listen to him all day.
I wish i could snap up this cottage. I'm sure whomever does will be very happy.

@christoffer1973 closest city is Coimbra in one direction (40 minutes) or Tomar in the other (30 minutes).

Love to be in touch. once we have D 7 visa, But fire in Portugal specially in central and northern part of the County is the concern ?
Every time there are fires I question my desire to live in Portugal, but every time the pull draws me back in. Next summer will be when I plan to start spending more time and exploring properly. In the end I know my heart will overrule my head!

@@heidifuller9964Exactly. I find Nick's bird's eye views are very helpful to see what's where, and i favor villages/towns that break well away from dense pine and eucalyptus forests. It's also noce when a major highway is not too far off to make zipping around towards bigger cities easier.

@HANZELVANDERLAAY in the uk this would be worth 500k, in Ukraine maybe 1k, so it's really irrelevant how much properties are in other countries, in Portugal this is a great price.

@@HANZELVANDERLAAYWith the orice of housing in Portugal rising so much so fast just since i started wtching Nick and Sarah's channel, and watching amongst many Central Portugal channels how difficult it is to secure reputable builders and materials, i cann see how this property is very desirable, especially for folks like myself who don't want a project but a home ready to move into and immediately begin my Portugal life, gor my own veg, relax and savor the remainder of my life.

It does NOT need complete renovation. Perfectly habitable. Sound roof, good floors, functioning bathroom and kitchen. Good value for money in a lovely area, close to the IC8 and a fab river beach. Cute little house
