As a child, you play with NASCAR diecasts. As an adult, you display NASCAR diecasts.
Nah, let's be honest. We still play with them from time to time.

Fr im 13 and I have hundreds upon hundreds of die casts from every gen. And I display them. But the newer ones I sometimes play with
... and then you regret dicking the cars up you played with as a child... cause you literally beat the value right out of them plus you regret not having them to display. Ahhh, the vicious circle that is playing with toy race cars... if you didn't have those cars to crash up as a child, would you still pay $100+ to display the Elites today? It's the chicken or the egg my friend... a question as profound as a collector's pockets & as old as asking why we continue to drop $200+ on something we'd prefer you or anybody else just not touch... but you can look all you want... just not the signed one, that one stays in the case, where it lives... It's house is in my house & I got insurance on both.
I'm in my 30's.... My diecast collection is huge.... My prized gem is my Dale Earnhardt crash car.... Signed by the big E himself
WOW, im 13 and I have Earnhardt’s 1987 cars and 2000 cars gen when he died. R.I.P intermidator
I’m starting my nascar diecast collection as a Brit , currently I have a 2002 Kevin harvick 1:24, Jeff Gordon episode 1 (1999) 1:24, Jeff Gordon flame scheme (2008) and for some reason wood brothers 21 (2021)
@@AnimalAndrus I have all the dale sr cars.... He ever drove or raced including Iroc... All Dale Jr cats from the start of his career to present...
A pair of Dale Sr goggles he wore and signed...
I wish I could send pictures it's huge!
I also have a penchant for Sake and Bake.
@@codygudleske6581 bro has Jr.’s cat🗿
It's a shame that the MOQ set by Lionel is too damn high for some cars to get made. I think a better system needs to be implemented.
One of the best programs put out about diecast. In my opinion, Ertl actually produced the true first NASCAR diecast and drivers like Richard Petty, Dale Earnhardt and I believe Mickey Waltrip were the first ones "signed" up with diecast deals.
Who dosent love to buy mini NASCAR's
Mini WHAT?
1:64 you mean?
Honestly tho. They so fun
Same. My prized pick up is the Ross Chastain "Hail Melon" car from Martinsville. Found it at Meijer one day and had to get it. I couldn't believe he never lifted and rode the wall in 3 & 4 to race for a title. A video game move that actually worked
Me
You know what they say.. 'the difference between men and boys is the price of their toys.' :D Thanks for doing this one. It was fun.
Seeing the cars on TV, then finding them in stores was the coolest thing. Had to have any i could find no matter the driver. Earnhardt was my favorite but also loved the 88 QC, 28 Texaco, and 7 QVC
That Dale Sr. crashed car is The Holy Grail. If I could find one I couldn't afford it. Well maybe I could, but do I really want to spend that much? My hat is off to anyone who owns one!
Baught an elite crash car for about $250 or so 3 years ago. Totally worth it once you see it in your hands. It's unlikely they will ever make any as such again due to costs these days, and that was nascar's boom era. So I'd get one now before they cost more than an actual car lol.
I became hooked to Nascar diecast a few months back...Space is what I need the most of....I am nearing 100 in just a few months!
Collecting diecasts as a kid hooked on NASCAR for life. I'm very grateful for all the care that goes into producing the cars. I've kept my crate of a few hundred 1/24s through adulthood and always will. Shoutout to the Mooresville spot shown in the video! Great place to find rare stuff.
You never grow too old for diecasts
I collect the race wins for ones I attend. Feels like I own both a part of nascar and my own history.
I’ve got a Jeff Gordon diecast car that was personally signed by him when I was invited to the Jeff Gordon club back in 2005 I believe in pocono
The only car I have displayed (not in the attic 😁) is the 1994ish 1/64 scale rainbow warrior when he was sponsored by Coke instead of Pepsi. I picked it up at a flea mkt, it’s been used by a kid so it looks like a real race car 👍
Oh, I've been waiting for this! 🙌🏻
Raced used die cast will forever be my favorite
What a production! Great stuff NASCAR
This is so good
no u
Im 16 and my diecast collection has continued to grow i have 3 separate shelves with cars on them and also i have boxes full of diecast i use for stopmotion videos
So awesome. I've been collection since childhood. Each one is a memory. Especially when I met Gordon and he signed that 94 Lumina. 👊😁
Nascar Diecasts are great fun, I have a bunch of Earnhardt Sr & Jr plus much more all sizes and times, Long live the diecast and more 1/18s please!! 😎👍🏁✔️
those were the best times, recreating my favorite races or making new tracks and having my own outcome. i even had tow mater for anytime there was a wreck😂
When I was little I loved getting these
Same. I couldn’t help it. I started collecting 1:64s at age 3 or 4 and stopped at age 17.
Nice video. I have around 2300 1/64s and 260 1/24s. I miss the 2000s
i love how the booth i like to buy alot of cars from at the antique mall here in mooresville was shown alot
Racing Champion was way before Days of Thunder. I remember going hunting in 87-88 looking for cars I didn’t have
Started my own collection for years! Over 30 in my collection so far
Excellent content!
I’ll never forget getting my first diecast. I was given a 1:64 2018 Chase Elliott car in my Easter basket. That was a trailblazer that started a collection that is now almost 600 strong and hopefully if I can financially afford to, keep growing as the years go on.
As a kid, there was nothing more exciting than getting a die cast car of your favorite drivers. NOTHING
Hmmm, I had Ertl diecast when I was a kid. 1982 Petty, Waltrip, Allison, and Yarborough. I still have them, all.beat to hell, but they were way before racing champions.
I had protype from 1987 for an original hauler truck for Jeff Gordon nobody wanted it 10 years ago 5 years ago not a single person. This package was never opened.
The exclusive deals always annoyed me as a collector. I want a full roster of 40 cars for each season with all of the full time drivers. I can’t be alone in this. Anyone else feel this way?
This is gonna be a W
I couldn’t have been the only one who would watch the races and position their diecasts in order of the running order.
Love this stuff nascar
To the guy at end holding 88 jr car and dirt late model please share where you got your display cases!! Holy cow there awesome!!!
The first actual nascar die cast that I ever bought were the desert storm set that had all 5 service paint schemes. The quality and detail were poor but that was the early days of racing champions. I bought 4 or 5 of the sets at Buds Wholesale which was like Big Lots and they had a shopping cart full of them. I believe that race was in 1990 and the teams painted those patriotic paint schemes without sponsorship.
Holy moly this amazing
What an awesome video!
Great video 👍
i got my holy grail, Rusty's last win. Love seeing Rusty in this
This was awesome
This is really good
I have the action series 1/24
Dale Earnhardt Jr. #8 (Budweiser 2000)
Jeff Gordon (DuPont 1999)
Ernie Irvan (M&M’s 1998)
Dale Earnhardt Jr. #3 (ACDelco 1999)
Dale Earnhardt Jr. #31 (Mom and Pop’s 1999)
Tony Stewart (1999)
Steve Park (1999)
Love it 😀 😍 ' I just love it 😀 Thanks 🎉
I remember my first diecast. It was a 2014 Aj Allmendinger Scott’s car.
I knew the voice was familiar. Two of my favorite things, Nascar and Fallout New Vegas.
this is so cool
Love this mini doc only. I only wish Lionel would fix the thousands of issues that holding back from being a good diecast company
Lionel doesn't care the same way that Action did.
My prized car is Dale Jr's Bristol Busch series 81 Taco Bell car that he won in 2004
Comprei alguns diretamente no site da Nascar, mas levaram quase um ano para chegar aqui no Brasil, mesmo assim valeu a pena!!!! As miniaturas são maravilhosas!!!
Interesting how this doc makes sound like Action was the big diecast maker of the 90's. Yeah sure, Earnhardt did it and all. But Racing Champions ruled the 90's! They had practically every car of the field in Cup, a good deal of Busch, and quite a bit of Trucks too. They also did 1/24 before Action was a thing...so I guess they're trying to do some jumps to story tell here.
RACE HUB IS ALREADY BACK????
I'd really like a Jeff Gordon, Kyle Bush, Dale Earnhardt (both, preferrably), or Jimmy Johnson die-cast, but the thing is that these are sold in dollars *(obviously),* and where i live, one dollar is worth 6 R$, so it's not worth it
The closest thing i've ever got was the lego technic set, and that sh*t was expensive
Is anyone, uh... going to mention Spin Master?
I'm 39 and right now and I don't see myself ever not collecting 1/24 nascar diecasts. I have 50 at the moment.
Im 13 and I have probably a hundred
Does it come with a box of Shake and Bake?
I got a huge 1:64 collection
Same My is MASSIVE
Same, I keep out growing my bins for them 😔
W im in this
Does Lionel have a store-front? In the video, it appears that there is, but locations that sell NASCAR memorabilia are getting extinct.
They have two Retail Stores. Concord Mills Mall in Concord, NC (about 2 miles from Charlotte Motor Speedway) and Opry Mills Mall in Nashville, TN.
mi collection is huge I have older car like dale sr to the 2023 cars expechaly Ryan blany
rare nascar 1080p video
Zachary Levi is a NASCAR fan?
Make a logano 2024
Miscraft ftw.
Lastima que no está traducido al español 😢
I saw this first on fs1
make a kyle busch plush please
I have every single Tony stewart every made action Lionel products I also all his sprint cars indy cars and iroc cars his nascar trucks he ran lose are same action performance they 1/24 scale 1/18 scale too no 1/64
What is this?
So is have really rare yellow fright Diecast bus he series cars and a cup car one is prototype how I got it my dad his business felt with yellow as there shipping people. The head man charge use to take us to Texas every single year and we would get to meet the teams and drivers I have a Chevy signed by Jimmy Spencer that’s the prototype and have a Johnny sauter 70 cup car signed and a 1 dodge signed by benson and Mcmuary
The quality of the 1/24’s should be a lot higher. M2 Machines 1/24 die-cast are way more detailed and higher quality for $24.
A different company needs to replace Lionel!!! Quality keeps getting worst and the price keeps skyrocketing.
Best video on UA-cam!!!!
Why do I head Flynn rider from tangled narrating
I'm in my 30's.... My diecast collection is huge.... My prized gem is my Dale Earnhardt crash car.... Signed by the big E himself
