I think it was special to hear you face the awkwardness of selling your own pen. If you were a huckster, you would have pitched it like an obnoxious health/wealth preacher. Instead, like any good, modest person, you displayed some nerves. At nearly double your age, I have to be realistic. I may not be able to afford it, but I was looking at possibly adding a Leonardo grande. So, please know I love your choices of material. In fact, do not apologize in any way for choosing a top manufacturer, great colors and materials, and making something that others can treasure. You and 2 or 3 other reviewers are part of the experience for the vast majority of the Fountain Pen Revival Generation. Everything I know about pen care, nib smoothing, overcoming baby’s bottom, etc., I owe to you and 2 or 3 other you-tubers. THANKS FOR ALL YOU DO! At the same point in your career in academia, at age 40, I taught pre-classroom computers, no Power Point slides, and experienced the exhaustion of grading handwritten exams. How I would have loved to have had an eyedropper fountain pen filled with the traditional red ink rather than going through several throw-away pens correcting exams! Blessings for your teaching career and your heart-felt hobby as a fountain pen guru. We all enjoy and benefit from what you do! KW
Congratulations!! The pen itself it's not for me, my price point is very low, but it doesn't matter at all. It makes me happy to see you enthusiastic about it. Enjoy the well deserved moment and the pen!!
Your logo is absolutely perfect on this pen. It has always reminded me of an Arctic fox pouncing on a mouse he hears under the snow. The is exactly the pose I have seen in nature videos. Also, curse you for bringing out this gorgeous pen when I have been so good about severely limiting pen purchases for a while.
It's a very pretty pen Mr. Brown - I think the colors are very interesting and soft. It's so strange how the rods where some parts looked very opaque and flat, but then turned it has so much sparkly chatoyance. I wished there was a steel nib version for affordability! It's difficult for some of us to collect limited gold nibs haha! Congrats on another beautiful Leonardo collab!
Congratulations on another Leonardo LE! I👏 grew up in northern Canada and the material really captures the subtle hues of a chilly Canadian winter morning😊
It's a very beautiful pen, Stephen, and that winter sunrise was quite breathtaking! I grew up in northern Ontario, (Brrr!!!) so it is very heartwarming to see! ❄️☃️ I'm sure it will sell zippity, zappity 😅 All my best wishes to you 😊
Amazing pen and I am so happy for you! Great achievement! That material is impressive: Jonathon is really a great artist! A bit out of my price range, but we'll see. So Joost is Giuseppe in Dutch? I didn't know that (you always learn something new)!
Classy. I want one. I think that's unlikely somehow. Best wishes from rainy Sheffield where I'm about to do an early morning walk (that might be a pretty inspiration for a design?). Best wishes from South Yorkshire.
Very nice, Stephen, and congratulations on your second SBREBROWN Pen! I very much enjoy your first pen model (#78/100). It writes wonderfully and is, itself, quite a beautiful work of art. It does seem to roll away from me if I try to fill it with anything but SBRE Brown ink. Fortunately, I've very fond of that ink too, and have a good supply of it, so we're a good match!
The pure enjoyment of watching beautiful inks flow from the pen. Nib width is a matter of personal preference, and there's just as much use for a broad as a fine or medium.
Seriously though. Put in the cart. Almost hip purchase but I promised people that I wouldn’t buy another pen for several months. (I went a little crazy in 2024)

Thank you very much for this incredibly kind comment: it's very much appreciated!
Congratulations!!

Congrats! That is a good looking pen. Glad you went for an ebonite feed and piston filler!
Very well put together--the ruthenium and the now arctic fox....
Congratulations on another Leonardo LE! I👏 grew up in northern Canada and the material really captures the subtle hues of a chilly Canadian winter morning😊
Oh so tempting. Once again a great collaboration and such a beautiful material. Congrats to you / Joost & Leonardo
Awesome pen! It does look like a snowy sunrise! The color scheme is fantastic.
Beautiful pen, congratulations!
This is a stunning pen, and I love the inspiration for the extraordinary resin. Those who can obtain one of these beauties is fortunate indeed!
It looks like a gusher and I love that. Leonardo does superb writing instruments.

Oh this is gorgeous!n It looks like a combination of pastel PM and Abalone and mother of pearl all rolled into one
I NEED ONE OF THESE ❤❤❤
So happy to see this homage for you. Congratulations!! Beautiful pen. Greetings from México
A beautiful pen, a great collaboration and a Leonardo! I couldn’t resit and already ordered one. Looking forward to see it in person ☺️
That Leonardo looks stunning, you've done well again.
Gorgeous! Love the wintery Rockies reference.
So happy for you. Beautiful pen.

Congrats on the new launch! Nice looking pen.
Please do a review of Leonardo Dodici.
A stunning looking pen. Well done to everyone involved.
Lovely colours
congratulations, it is a beautiful piece.

Beautiful, Stephen!
A beautiful, pricey pen.
as an owner of the OG model, I'm not going to be greedy and get a new model. the more people who can own one the better 🙂
Good job , the best to you and yours
I love Leonardo pens and its a beautiful material but for that price I would have expected a #8 gold nib.
Just ordered one! 🎉
Thank you kindly!
Good luck Stephen, but to me it looks too similar to PM1. It will sell well, sure.
Hi Stephen. What is the use for a broad nib other than signatures, which is very rare for most people?
Not Stephen, but I write with a broad as an everyday pen. I have quite large handwriting though, so perhaps that plays into it?
The pure enjoyment of watching beautiful inks flow from the pen. Nib width is a matter of personal preference, and there's just as much use for a broad as a fine or medium.
Titan pen with stacked resin and gold nib?? 👀
❤
I can’t listen right now… anyone know where this is going on sale? I assumed Appelboom, but I don’t see it?
@ I can’t find it?
Oh, now I can 🤷♂️
It's lovely but every new pen I buy means I write with my existing ones a little less, and I already have four MZGs.
I love ebonite feeds. It’s what we want. Down with plastic. I wish the pen was very success!
Help daughter with college or buy a new pen……
Seriously though. Put in the cart. Almost hip purchase but I promised people that I wouldn’t buy another pen for several months. (I went a little crazy in 2024)
It's true! I know what you mean
Another Leonardo MZG in J Brooks resin in a looooooong string of LE MZs/MZGs in J Brooks resins coming from all directions. Completely unnecessary.
Thank you!
