One of my favorite things about this episode in particular is how the LeDoux incident happens like halfway through the episode and it’s kind of surprising because it feels like that should’ve been the big finale…just like it should’ve felt for Rust and Marty. It creates this weird sort of looping feeling because all the sudden the end isn’t where we thought it was…quite literally both for the episode and in the case itself.
I'm watching your reaction and laughing about the pervasive dark, tense mood of this show and how it's getting to you! 😂. I agree completely! But the seemingly impossible thing (at least in my opinion) was that I enjoyed watching it SO MUCH! I mean, how is that even possible?? 😂😂
So what did you make of Reggie's cook partner reading Rust? The whole "you've got a shadow on you" thing? Also, what did you make of Reggie Ledoux saying he saw Rust in his dreams? I think he called Rust the 'dark star' and spoke about him as if his coming was foretold. I mean, neither of them said anything like that to Marty.
Man that hallucination part really fucked with you. Rust was very specific, he knows when he's hallucinating, which means we know when he's hallucinating. it's not like he's seeing events that aren't real. the show makes it pretty clear when he is hallucinating. maybe im wrong idk that was always my interpretation.

The effects they used to blow his face off was friggin incredible
The music is amazing in this series!

I love how the end of this episode after the cops accuse Rust, we end with a shot of Rust all perfectly framed up in that creepy window frame!
Ohhhh yea. One of Marty's girls after the time jump is that little girl from The Walking Dead. The one that was with Carol and Tyreese
Thank you, Elie! 🔍 Cary Joji Fukunaga directed this episode, too.
Lovin the reactions Elie. such a great show

Actually it was just a regular AK with an RPK magazine inserted
Nietzsche's thought experiment - eternal recurrence.
Eff that effing Yellow King 😵💫
Better learn to enjoy the darkness, because it's never gonna lighten up. 😂
Imma just assume the role of bane
