When i first saw the title and the thumb nail i had a burst of wind flow through my body as for when the video started i had the smell of dusty music room carpet and the smell of popcorn fill my nose as I remembered my old man music teacher kick his feet up on his desk and play this on a old vcr system and a box tv. I'm glad i found this video.
I remember in 4th grade when my music teacher was telling us that we don't need fancy instruments to make beautiful music, then she played this.. I didn't really think about it then, but as a music nerd now, it is just, wow. *soft chuckle* I can still smell all the different oils, waxes, and new instruments💖🎼

I saw Stomp in NYC many years ago on a class trip while in college at PACE UNIVERSITY here in NY. it was AWESOME, such an unforgettable night and show. Thank You for posting this content here on YT so i can experience Stomp again. Blue Man Group was another wildly popular production at the time but i missed out on buying tickets to see it live, so i will def. be checking it on either on here or on DVD. thanks again. muchas gracias.

There first public showing was in Marin County,California. They were invited to play by Industrial Light and Magic (George Lucas) and the entire company was present, myself included. This stage set-up looks the same as I remember. We all stood up and with a warm and proud company yell, we welcomed all of them to a very successful future. The rest is HISTORY, THANK YOU ALL.
I've been doing this for all of my 71 years and never knew it was "a thing" . Glad I found out about it before it was too late, and died thinking I was the only one 😲😜

I saw the original Stomp in London’s Tunnel Club in the 1970’s. Astonishing then, and still absolutely brilliant!
