Yes, each and every spin is a random, independent event. However, progressive jackpots work completely differently. Based on the %, current coin in/coin out....The next progressive jackpot # (when it hits) on linked games are set as soon as it hits. Meaning, the machine has set the number in which the progressive hits. They are NOT random. It's which player on one of those linked games in that bank reaches that selected number. The back to back big progressive hit theory isn't possible and this is also backed by the language by the NGC.
Thank you for the info video, Matt. Good content on both of the gaming channels, I haven't seen the fishing one yet as I couldn't find it, but I am old and easily mistaken. Be well, and much luck to all! Off to Laughlin next week.

You are referring to “must hit by” slots and not all progressives work in that manner.

Glad you enjoyed it! Thanks
Does the "every spin is random" also apply to the class II bingo machines? It seems the server actually picks the numbers, not the machine.
I do believe that Class II machines, which are based on bingo, also use a random number generator to draw the bingo balls.
