I have just started experimenting with collages recently for things like birthday cards, etc. Your techniques certainly gave me some better ideas about combining and coloring them. Thanks again!
Ally, thank you. I learned a lot of tips from this video starting out with a collage will have sharp "pasted on" image edges whereas a composite will have multiple images whose edges are more likely to blend together. This was a great exercise and I appreciate you sharing it.
@@AffinityRevolution Thanks Alli. Excellent work, but still too complicated for me. A less advanced tuto ( for beginners ! ) would certainly make a lot of ( in digital collage ! ) interested guys happy !? Following your vids since « ever », I actually appreciate them.
This is amazing and I learned so much thank you! My only snag is that the final document size is quite large - is there a way I can reduce this and still export as a png?Thank you:)
May I please ask how do I put two different images side by side so I can export it as one image? I'm sure it's super simple but I can't figure out how.
Follow these steps: 1. Open Affinity Photo 2. Make a new document (use the File Menu at the top, then choose New Document) 3. From the File Menu, go to Place, and then select the two images. 4. Click and drag to place the 2 images where you want them. 5. Move your images to the desired position. Then you are ready to export your photo. 😊
when I click the pen tool, there's no option for mask on the upper left hand. when I control click the masked layer, I can hit "mask to below" but that doesn't work either...
Be sure to watch the end of the video, where I'll show you a few more scrapbook ideas. 😊
I see an Affinity Revolution video, I immediately hit like!
Thank you so much! 😊

Thank you Alain! I'm glad you liked it. 😊
A great example of many techniques - particularly the quite complex use of layers, cropping and masking. Super result :)
Thank you! This video was a little more advanced, but I tried to keep it as simple as possible. 😊
