- Buc-ee's - Melissa, TX. This is a one of a kind place. A chain of travel centers/convenience stores across Texas, Buc-ee's blows the roof off of competitors. Love's, Flying J, TA, etc are no match for Buc-ee's. You walk in and are immediately welcomed by friendly people, the smell of fresh brisket, and you have a full convenience store, fresh made-to-order food, and a gigantic gift shop, general store, outdoor store. I can't say enough nice things about Buc-ee's. Did I mention they are famous for having the world's cleanest restrooms? It's true. Exclusive to Texas and the south, you won't find Buc-ee's anywhere else unless they expand, which I'm hearing they may. If you're ever in Texas or elsewhere in the south, and you're near a Buc-ee's or see the sign(s) for a location you're approaching, do yourself a favor and stop in. You will not regret it.

I work here at this Buc-ees! Theres so much stuff. You'd never think but we also have a whole gift shop and warehouse in the back that carries so much more to restock on everything that nobody can see unless you work there. But its awesome.

You're not lying. The cleanest bathroom's I have ever seen, is in a Buc-ee's.

Where I live we only have 3 Walmarts, 2 Sheetz and 1 Sam’s Club, no Wawa, no Buc-ee’s, no BJ’s, nothing, we are pretty much stuck with Walmart, no Target, no Meijers, nothing! I love getting to see the places you share with us, so thanks!

I'm so very sorry to hear of your situation and having a stroke. My father died in 2016 because of a severe stroke. It was awful. I'm sorry you're confined to being at home but I'm grateful you're here with us and here to comment on the video. Strokes are no joke. Hope you're doing well and doing the best you can. This place looks amazing & now my first time seeing a convenience store with this many gasoline pumps even the store inside & out looks alot nicer than the Yesway convenience store where I work. Thank you for sharing Wallie and Kayla!

I went to Texas so I can visit some family and when we were coming back to Indiana I stopped at the same exact buc-ees to get a lot of stuff in a little Buc-ee plush and a shirt and a hat and a hat for my dad
Wow, you were right about Buc-ee's! This place is on MAJOR steroids, vs. even a Wawa or Sheetz. Holy crap, you really could fit like several Sheetz stores, into just this one Buc-ee's!
Can't believe they even have brisket, as well. And that it was more like a general store with a little of everything, and not just a typical gas station/truck stop place! Hope they do expand beyond Texas and southern states, someday. Thanks for the tour, of this Buc-ee's.
The supposed goal is for them to be in every state within the next 10 years.. we will see if it pans out like that though..
We are getting 2 locations in SC, including 1 right here where I live in Anderson and 1 in Florence.
Used to compete in computer science all the time in high school (just graduated in May). Every time we'd go on a 3-4 hour trip where we'd be staying the night somewhere our midway point would be a Super Bucee's outside of Gonzales and I'd get a couple of their breakfast burritos or some popcorn depending on the time. I live 20-30 minutes from another Super Bucee's myself and that one's basically the size of the Walmart across the street from it. Definitely don't go there much, but they're certainly nice places.

I heard Kayla mention Hudson Oaks for a new location, always heard the same but cannot find any info about it actually being built. Be nice to have one that way when going west as I always stop at this one in Melissa when going to Oklahoma. Not a fan of those beaver nuggets, but I always get their rice crispy treats and other snacks.
Great video BTW and Buc-ee's is one of those business that encourages people to film in their stores.
Finally Wallie and Kayla got some food lol 😆. Looks 10x times better than Sheetz. One of these days I'll make out to to Texas to stop at visit Buc-ee's.

Typically, a Buc-ee's location has around 90-120 pumps. Believe Melissa is around 100. Those convenience stores could range generally from 45k to 68k square feet (size of a grocery store). Buc-ee's in New Braunfels, TX is world's largest convenience store while the Buc-ee's in Katy, TX has the world's longest car wash.
They are opening and have plans to open a lot of new locations as well. The first location outside of TX, in Robertsdale (AL), opened in early 2019. Now they are going to add a location soon in my town among other places outside of TX.

That was a damn nice store, it seemed to have a little bit of everything. I bet you can get some good sauces from down there, but Pittsburgh has its fair share also.

Before the pandemic, for the first time since moving to Texas a year ago, I got to visit this convenience store it is amazing! Once I get a vaccine for covik 19 I am making a vow to return & try all the sandwiches they make that I have not tried yet. Believe it or not I still have never tried dipping dots. Are they any good?

If I remember correctly I saw one youtube video it was world's longest car wash and it is automatic and this gas station stop that you were at that was world's longest car wash was at that car wash was so long you can be in there for long time.

It sort of reminds me of the commissary on the military base where I live, they had a lot of stuff like minus the tourist stuff obviously lol unfortunately I can't shop there cause I'm not military just work on base as a civilian but my best friend (whose family is military) took me there once so I got to look around but not buy anything
I've never heard of a place where you could only buy something if you're part of a specific group. To me, money is money no matter who it is, but whatever. I'm assuming it's a private company so they can do whatever. It just doesn't seem to make sense.
