The neck is the SD 59 and the bridge is the SD Jazz and the tuners are PingWell RM-1239NV. And also the fretboard is Ebony 12”. Great info video! Thanks! 😉
Baaed on my expereince so far, the only changes I would make would be to replace the tuners and put graphite saddles in. I can barely play thing now for any length of time without breaking a string. The Pickups are killer. I dont think I would change those.
@@chuckmottmusic1915 I replaced the bridge and stoptail on mine and I have no problems with that! A Wilkinson Roller Bridge and a Duesenberg Les Trem II Stoptail! 👌🏼 Thinking if I should keep the pickups or change them! They sound nice, but thinking about a Lambertones or a Lollar set for her would work great! And will change soon the tuners for Gotoh Vintage Locking Tuners tho
Thanks for this, great review. I have a 2023 Goldburst of the same model and I love it. They seem to be built to an excellent standard across the board. I also love the pickups, they reflect the woody sound of the guitar through the amp really well. I have a Gibson Les Paul with unpotted burstbuckers so I enjoy having a slightly different tone from the potted SDs - really a match made in heaven with this guitar. Have you ever player the T59? What were your impressions?
All 335's have laminated tops - locking tuners doesn't necessarily mean better tuners - and that's an ebony fretboard. Try stretching the strings out properly, that is most likely the tuning issue. The Vintage style Ping Tuners are very good. The Eastman T486 and the T59V are exceptional 335 style guitars. The build quality is second to none. The are all hand built by excellent luthiers who do not use CNC machines.I have played many 335's, including Gibson's and I rate the Eastman's as good as any I have ever played. They are fabulous instruments. The " Inspired By Gibson " Epiphone ES 335 is a lovely guitar for the money too. I own one and love it.
