I have been using the Osee LCM 215 for years now as both a in the field production monitor and color monitor (custom PC with BMD mini monitor card), and love this thing so much! Love seeing you reviewing / using OSEE Justin, always appreciate your honest feedback and deep descriptions. You be fire!
Thanks for the review Justin. I rented this monitor for a project last month and I was very impressed with some features and very bummed out with other things like the not receiving 4k signal. Very affordable when compared to like a small HD Cine 13 but laking in many ways.
Thanks for the video! They probably don't want to pay Apple Tax to put apps on the app store, I have an M1 Max mac and so much doesn't work (in regards to the smaller software developers), but i'm sure in time it will change! This is what it feels like when companies only support Apple (and Apple only sells to 20% of the entire market that buys computers, how many gamerz are on your set? Last time I was on a set it was usually the entire grip or lighting department {erybody know that's where the nerds be} lol. But don't take my word for it)! Thanks for the video!!
Yeah i mean i dont really care if its 10bit or 8bit. Im just using it for a client/director monitor. Personally, the fact that it cant accept a 4K signal makes it not a good option to use as a reference monitor in a color grading suite anyways.
Not sure if a 6bit + FRC would be enough. 10bit is nice, however, the 10bit would only be worth using in light controlled area/room. Outdoors the bit depth would not matter as long as the picture would be visible.
This is not a real 10-bit monitor. It’s actually a 8+2 monitor so slightly below the full quality of a true 10-but monitor and likely not up to the standards of a color grading monitor. Really decent image quality overall though.

According to Cine D it’s a “10-bit panel (8+2 FRC) “ . So 10 bit my arse, Justin
